.

My car was hit in a parking lot and damaged in the rear side panel and bumper. A little dent and some paint was scraped off. Not a huge problem, so I figured it would be an easy repair job. I called the dealer (Capital Toyota) and was told they have Capital Collision do the repair (Its in the same parking lot). I took my car in and they told me it would be two, maybe three days. I had to get a rental car, so I told me to please let me know if would three days instead of the two so I could let the rental car company know.

After two days, I called to see how the repair was going and I was told it would be another two day. I was very upset and asked why. I was told they were very busy and had repaired the dent but had not painted my vehicle yet. I told them, since someone else was paying for my rental car, I didn't see how just telling them "Well the place I choose to have my car repaired is busy, you need to keep paying $45/day until they decide to paint my car" would work. I was told they would see what they could do. I received a phone call the next day, late morning stating that my car was ready to be picked up. I was shocked! Very happy that they decided to keep to the original timeline, I drove down to pick-up my car.

I couldn't believe how bad of a job they did painting my vehicle! The paint had bubbles and pinholes all over. When I pointed them out, the employee told me "Well just call next week and we will buff those out while you wait". He just walked off after that. No big deal to them. I guess it doesn't pay to complain while they have your car!

I went home and called the manager. After two days I was told to bring my car back in, they would give me a rental car and they would repaint my car, no charge.

The second job was much better, but I will never return to them for car service of any kind. They were very rude and the job was just horrible the first time. I could not believe a dealership would try to return a car in that con

PROS: Final fixed problem
CONS: Rude, poor workmanship, no communication
