This place has great food. They have delicious warm bread and can make a sandwich any way you like it. Hot or cold this place comes highly recommended.

Our first impression of this small, local sub-shop was that it was dirty, & rarely frequented. The surfaces were dusty, dirty, & yucky, like they don't regularly wipe the place down. The husband & wife duo who run the place, were just sitting down when we arrived. Instead of wasting time, they should've been cleaning. The bathroom was dirty and the "hand" soap was literally a bottle of watered-down Neutragena Face Wash. The salt and pepper shakers were grimey & filthy!

The menu had a nice selection of subs, but they were low on ingredients, & also they were out of both soup and chili. I ordered a veggie sub, but really got a selection of typical hamburger condiments on bread (shredded lettuce, tomato, diced onion, pickles, black olives, mustard, and cream cheese). The highlight of the sub should have been cucumbers and sprouts, both of which they apparently no longer serve. It would have been nice if the menu would have reflected that, so I would have known BEFORE ordering.

We used a 2-for-1 coupon which is what motivated us to even try this place. I'm glad we didn't pay $5.29 and $5.99 for the sandwiches we got. The bread was nothing special, and my husband's "italian" sub was pathetic at best. The owner said they are "better then Subway" which was highly inaccurate.

At their service counter, they have an assortment of cookies, candy, gum, etc. with faded, hand-written signs, given the impression the product hasn't been sold or rotated in some time. Also, who would buy a dill pickle from a dusty jar sitting out of the refrigerator? The faded and dusty pictures/posters on the wall were of wartime submarines or similar subject matter, which didn't seem to belong in a sandwich shop.

Overall, I would think that the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of a food establishment would be a top priority of its owners. It's hard to look past the condition of the place. I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend anyone eating here, or even taking food to go.

Pros: Their menu appeared to have a nice selection of sandwiches

Cons: Dirty, unattractive atmosphere, didn't have all ingredients on-hand
