I have been using this place for years. The past 2 years I noticed a turn for the worst with regards to the groomers, trainer and Rude/nasty spirited OLD lady at the counter. They will say anything even to the point of flat out lying to get you to sign up for classes take your money then once you have paid you are treated badly/as well as your dog, the sold called employees take on the attitude if you don t like it too bad your not getting your money back.

The so called groomer (short chunky girl with short black hair), talk about un professional and flat out cruel. I walked in late morning to drop off my dog for grooming and she was talking about how most dogs in training need to be drugged instead of trained. She then went on to say she cant stand most of the #$%$ hole dogs she deals with and their owners. I was so disgusted by what I herd I turned around and walked out have not and will not EVER come back . My advice is if you care for your dog stay clear of this place! Seriously shocking they are still in business.

While attempting to book a grooming appointment (twice now) they first ask what breed the dog is----then when you tell them and they understand its a breed with lots of hair---they are suddenly booked up for 6 weeks out. I understand everyone wants easy but don't claim to service all breeds when the truth is you go out of your way to avoid certain ones. This is very disappointing and shows obvious breed prejudice.

Lisa, the owner, is a very knowledgeable trainer. My dogs have both benefited from Lisa and Jen and Sara's classes. The location is perfect for me, it takes 5 minutes to get there. They will advise you on what classes would benefit you most, not just what classes they need participation in. The agility class is perfect for those starting out or perhaps for those who feel the CAT barn is too overwhelming for them or their dog. I would recommend this business to anyone, price is right and the people are wonderful.

Pup-A-Razi has a variety of uses for the dog owning public, pet washing, dog grooming, daycare, training classes and drop in obedience classes. I've been many times and appreciate the training opportunities there.

This is the best all-around place for socializing your new puppy. There are so many class offerings: Loose Lead Walking, Beyond the Basics, Puppy Kindergarten, Rally, Agility and Advanced Obedience. Their website lists all the classes available and the schedules. There are play times for large and small dogs, and day care services. Two large, fully matted rooms allow for two classes at the same time.

The trainers are friendly and very professional. There are dog supplies and premium dog foods at very competitive prices.

The back room contains a dog wash and grooming parlor.

Pup-a-razzi is very easy to get to, located on the west side of Beaverton. They have two large training areas that can be rented when classes are not using them at a very reasonable price. Good for dog birthday parties, exercsing your dog or doing a little brush up training. The grooming area is well laid out and the staff is helpful in getting you going ongiving fido a bath. They also do all kinds of pet classes and beginner competition classes.

I have done drop in training at Pup a Razzi since they opened over 5 years ago. It is reasonable to rent time there to train on your own. I have also used their dog washing area and found all the supplies I needed and extremely reasonably priced. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I know that they teach classes there but have not taken any but would imagine that they would be fine.

I have been going to Pup-a-Razzi since it opened. I have used the self-service dog wash, purchased doggy supplies there and have taken dog training classes. They have a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The facility is always clean and well stocked. I am always glad to recommend them to my dog owning friends!

I have been going to Pup-A-Razzi for 2 1/2 years and have nothing but positive things to say. My vet recommended them, and she even has her dog in their day-training program. I have taken several classes with them, and their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. My dog also participates in their day-training program---it is like doggy daycare, but it is better---they help my dog with her manners and basic training. Additionally, my dog is groomed weekly and she is known for being the cleanest, most well-groomed dog around. I also use the self-service dog wash for my Lab. Sometimes his old body has trouble moving, and the staff is always willing to help me out.

With all of that said, I am surprised by the negative comments. For the person who commented on "a greasy looking cocker spaniel alone in the daycare area with pus in his eyes," I am afraid that you are commenting on my dog since she is the only Cocker Spaniel that goes to their daycare. My dog is absolutely clean---unless, of course, she has come in from a walk in the rain or something. I also need to point out that Cocker Spaniels frequently have tearing in their eyes----you can do a simple internet search and find that information. My dog has never had pus in her eyes, nor has she had any type of eye infection. And the person who complained about getting their dog's nails clipped----there are set times they clip nails. The schedule is posted on their door. It is hard for someone to clip your dog's nails if they are gone for the day---lucky for you someone was still around to help you.

Pup-A-Razzi is a popular dog spot in the Beaverton area. They also sell QUALITY food and supplements, which is something you won't find at many pet supply stores. We give them two paws up!

Wow, our experience is NOTHING like the negative comments some people have left.

My husband and I LOVE this place, and we've been customers since they opened eight years ago. Great dog wash, carry our dog's food without a huge markup, lots of great classes.

Our dog is old and a little nervous, so we try to go in on weekdays, now. The weekends have gotten really busy. Guess we're just spoiled.

My experience sounds like the same as two of the other reviewers. It was just dirty inside (I was hoping that my dog would at least leave in a cleaner condition than he came in) and the people that are supposed to be working there obviously have no idea what good customer service is. In all, it wasn't the griminess of the store as much as the staff's attitude/ lack of concern for new customers. Or maybe they pick and choose which customers they want to return. It's nice that they must be successful enough to be able to discriminate against certain customers, but I know that I will seek out a business that isn't so obviously prejudice (and trashy) in the future.

I am amazed at the 2 low ratings. I have taked my 2 westies there for class an grooming since they were little. 3 years for 1 and 2 for the other. Both of them are so excited to arrive. And Heather has been their only groomer. She calls them her kids and they bark and give her kisses. The classes were excellent and both dogs still remember what they were trained to do. I would and have told many dog owners of this wonderful facility.

I see the other reviews below are related to the dog wash and mine is about the training and the day care.

My dog has been going to Pup for over 3 years to day care and we have done four or five classes there as well. Boomer LOVES it at Pup. While it is a bit out of my way to take him once a week, it's well worth the drive because he comes home wiped out for a day and a half. The staff at Pup know him very well and he loves going every week. They are like family to him and they have helped with a few of his issues. They understand dogs and what it takes to keep them and their owners happy. I know that he is safe and having fun while I'm at work all day.

And, their classes have been very helpful to us as well. We have taken a tricks class that was a lot of fun and has given us great things to show off to our friends and family. Right now we are taking Canine Good Citizen and it is a good class too. The trainers have given us many different ideas of how to work with my dog and different options on how to motivate him.

I'm sorry others haven't had pleasant experiences, but I wouldn't trade the staff at Pup for the world. They have made me a better first time pet owner by their expertiese and knowledge.

Wanting to avoid the agony of a back-ache after giving my three Shih-Tzu?s a bath in the tub, I thought I would try one of those do-it-yourself dog washes. As usual, I did an on-line search. The only place that was close enough to me and open late enough for me to wash, dry, and brush all three doggies was Pup A Razzi. I saw they had two horrible reviews on CitySearch, but decided to chance it anyway (the doggies were starting to smell). My experience was nothing like the other two reviewers?. I found the staff to be pleasant and helpful, the facilities clean, and plenty of supplies on-hand. When I first walked in and asked for some information, one of the staff took me around and explained how things worked. It was a pleasure to be able to stand up and bath the little Shih-Tzu herd, and not have an aching back or legs when I was finished. Besides the dog wash area, they have a pretty large facility for ?doggy day camp?, classes, what have you. While I was there, they had an obedience training class that was very well attended, with at least 20 dogs and their owners. Will I go back? Yes!

I would avoid Pup-a-razzi, unless you absolutely have to. I've been there 3 times, and have had 3 bad experiences. Place smells (no apparent attempt to relieve the odor), poor customer service (I had to call 6 times to get someone on the phone during business hours. 3 time it rang, the person hung up before talking), and when I did reach them on the phone, she acted like it was a major inconvenience to communicate that someone was there who could help clip my dog's nails. I was told, "Lisa is suppose to be gone for the day, but if you're here in the next 5 minutes, she may be able to help you." WTF! Last I checked, I was the customer.

It would be a great lesson for P-A-R to remember who there customers are, and how to actually initiate good customer service. And if you can do something about the nasty odor in the dog wash/grooming area, that would be a benefit, too.

Cons: it smells, poor customer service (x3), and overall nasty nasty inside

I found Pup-A-Razzi by searching online for the nearest self-service dog wash. I ignored the fact that they are unpopular in Citysearch - I figured they must be OK, since they have a decent website. I had never been to a self-service dog wash before, but I assumed that it would be a fun experience, since I love going with my puppy to obedience classes and shopping with her in dog-friendly stores. When I arrived, I saw that I was their only customer. Once inside, I was surprised at how dirty their facilities were - clumps of dog hair left everywhere on the floor, stained, dingy drying towels, a greasy looking cocker spaniel alone in the daycare area with pus in his eyes. Another dog left in the bathtub alone (and wet) for an extended period of time. I have been to a dog groomer before, so I expected some mess. I just didn't expect it to be filthy. I actually didn't mind the poor condition of the facilities so much as the disrespectful and rude treatment by the staff. I couldn?t tell if one of the staff members (who was actually an owner of Pup-A-Razzi) was more unhappy with her job or her life, but she responded to each question that I had with a sarcastic, condescending remark. Then, when I tried blow-drying my puppy?s hair for the first time, she walked up to me, took the dryer out of my hand without any explanation, and blew the high-pressure stream of air in my face to ?teach me a lesson? about blow-drying a dog. I explained the incident to another one of the owners, and she shrugged it off as if it were no big deal - as if they were used to complaints like mine. In the end, I realized why this "business" is so unpopular. I should have known from experience using Citysearch to go with a business that actually has positive ratings and reviews. Although I walked out without being charged, ?free? is still overpriced for the Pup-A-Razzi experience. I will never let a friend be subjected to the low-class, trashy service offered by the owners of Pup-A-Razzi.

Pros: They are a self-service dog wash - low quality and low class, but at least they are a place where you can wash your dog yourself.

Cons: Dirty facilities, horrible treatment of customers by the owners. They're about the same price as everywhere else, but I would pay at least twice the amount they charge to wash my dog somewhere else.
