I have had 3 very negative experiences with this Clinic, sadly. The first was discussed with the owner regarding my dear Fergus (rat). I knew more than the "expert" A Dr.Mc Dowel. She knew that money was tight and that I wanted to use the apothecary but instead she made up the medication and way over charged. This last visit did it for me. I had an alarming situation occur with my 5.5 lb. dog. I was concerned that she may have contracted Kennel Cough and a couple other issues I wanted to discuss... All in all, I walked out believing that I had an antibiotic for Kennel Cough when in fact this Dr. Gwen Boulton gave something completely different and did not tell me what she was treating... NOT what I went in for. Then they over-charged us and would not put the money back on the card, saying they would rather put it on our account for next time. They begrudgingly told us to come back and they would take care of it.. The next day we were accused by a staff member of trying to scam them by getting the money put back on the card when they had already put it back on the card. I don't particularly like being accused of thievery. That was resolved. My husband and I feel that this office will do whatever they can to get as much money out of you as possible. And DO NOT have your pet's best interests at heart. Plus, they told me some months back when I needed to have my rat put to sleep that they would not allow me to be present. That is not a good sign. What are they doing that I'm not allowed to witness? I am now searching for another Veterinarian. An expensive lesson, but I've learned it! My experience with Dr. Mary Whitlock has ALWAYS been positive, however I can no longer take the chance that I'll get another Dr. at this clinic.

and being new to the area I was out putting up fliers at local businesses. The ladies at this Vet Clinic all got together to help me with other resources. They looked up locations & phone #'s of several "animal-rescue" operations, none which I had knowlwdge of. Being new in Oregon has been good & bad due to my loss, but the people in Junction City are friendly TO THE MAX !!

PROS: Great place..no "animal-smell"
CONS:

This is a small country vet's office where the vet literally brings her pet to work with her nearly everyday. Very friendly staff that seem to genuinely care about the animals are also knowledgeable about the pet foods and other products sold there.
