L.Moire' garner

by Moire G.

I have been an active member of Gold's Gym for over four years. I have always been treated well. I haven't hired any trainers and if I have a question I can find help. The facility has great equipment and space. Many classes. Members are friendly. I have developed good friendships. Encouragement from others. It is a positive friendly place to workout at. I go 4-5 times a week.
Excellent deals can be had there! No fees for sign up and $27. per month is current promotion. My fee was reduced since I first signed up.

Run away...Fast! from Gold's Gym- Eugene.

by Bryan L.

Fraudulent charges on my credit card- no return calls- can't cancel membership. I am filing a complaint with the FTC and anywhere else I can. Hideous conditions (out of towels, scum in the showers, GROSS), high broken-equipment ratio, non-existent customer service (Mostly room-temp I.Q. teenagers). You WILL regret signing up.

Awful Gym!

by Anonymous

Horrible customer service and very bad business practices. An absolutely filthy facility! DO NOT let them do EFT they will take out extra money each year for "facility maintenance", isn't that what membership dues are for! Staff has been known to use member CC info for personal use. Before joining do yourself a favor and contact the Better business bureau and the health department, both of which have received many complaints on Gold's Gym in Eugene and Spfld.

One plus - Great group fitness instructors and classes, huge array of equipment.

Pushy Salespeople

by Randi Z. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 10,778

I really wanted to join this new gym off Delta Hwy. But in order to sign up, you need to give a huge deposit and the salespeople would not budge on pricing. $300 to start a gym is a little too high for me. But the facility is brand new.
