El Sol De Mexico

This restaurant is one of the things we miss about Corvallis. We liked everything we tried on the menu, and generally didn't have any issues with the service.

This is not the best Mexican restaurant in Corvallis, but it is also not as busy as the El Sol. They have decent food and have all the regular specials. But they are small and their service doesn't tend to be as good. You can usually walk-in at any time and get a table even if you are in a large group.

El Tapatio is an okay place to go when you are tired of Taco Bell. It has a nice atmosphere and the people are generally nice. The service is slow, so don't go there if you are in a hurry. The food is priced about the same as most Mexican resaurants. Not expensie, but not cheap. The drinks are a bit pricey, though.

The best thing to get is chips n salsa for an appetizer, then get enchiladas for the main course. They make them very well and they aren't cheap with the meat and cheese. Overall, an obove average mexican restaurant, but not quite deserving a rating of 4.

PROS: Atmosphere, Good Food, Decent Service, Enchiladas (enough said!)
CONS: Slow Service
