5 Stars: Made My Car Look Like New! I'll Be Back!? (by rankman)

I bought a used 99 Subaru in fair condition. The interior looked awful - mostly dirt and stains. But I needed a AWD vehicle immediately for my wife to get to work safely in the Oregon winter. I didn't recognize it when I picked it up. It looked so much better inside and out. They really did as much as could be done. I was really surprised to see that they made the engine also look like new. Shortly after driving out of the shop, I had car trouble. I thought at the time that it might have been something they had done to it. Tom the owner did everything he could to take car of it and help me get to a mechanic. When I took it to my mechanic, I found it was not anything Autobella did to my car - I am sure of that. But I was really happy with the way Tom was concerned about it. Thank You Tom and Autobella - Five Stars For You Guys!!!!! I'll Be Back!?

I was impressed when I picked up my highlander from detailing. We are selling it and it had tons of dog hair throughout the interior. These guys removed 99.9% of the hair & smell. I gave them a serious project & it came out perfect by my standards. They also did some small exterior trim repairs at no charge.

I frequent another shop in the Bay area where I live. I found Autobella through a friend that lives in the Pearl. Its apparent that my friend has good taste. Autobella did an excellent job on my Cayenne. It had seen I5 and was a mess. I was scheduled the same day I called and the car was done within a few hours. I will be returning again when I come back through. How about a shop down in the Bay area ? Autobella would kill the competition.

A gallon of soy milk spilled in the cargo area of my RAV4 two weeks ago, like an idiot I neglected to clean it up completely. I found Autobella through my mechanic. I dropped off the car and was told that I would have to replace the wool underlayment below the cargo cover. I was confused but the owner Tom was very knowledgeable on these types of problems and he filled me in clearly how the process would take place. After they were done they even did a free ozone treatment for me. The cost was reasonable and the service was completed in one day. I'm impressed.

I had brought my car here for detailing before I was going to sell it. This shop did a magnificent job on my car. It was a bit filthy as I have never detailed it before. When I got it back, I was tossing around if I should keep it. Instead I posted it on their site for sale and It sold in 2 days. I will be spreading the word guys.

My child had drawn on the leather seats of our honda odyssey. I figured it will never come out. I had visited Autobella once for other services and this time Tom was able to make dye and cover over the pen marks. I looks like it never happened. I had know idea this could be done. He did a great job and it only took about 30 minutes. Great job. Thanks

I was taking my cat to the vet in a cardboard transport box and he urinated in the box. It soaked through the cardboard into the seat and the foam. Tom explained that the smell is difficult to get out especially when it is deep in the foam. He ordered new foam and installed it and it smells like new. He was able to install the new foam in 4 hours so we could leave town.

I won an auto detail session from a charity auction event. I'm always scared to take my range rover someplace that I have never been too, but I am completely satisfied with the result. This shop did a beautiful job on my car. It was done on time as promised, and the car is beautiful. I can't stop staring at my car. I know it's just a thing... but I want to spend the night sleeping in my car they did such a nice job.

Our auto broker assured us that the place would do a good job. Good Job? GREAT Job. I was impressed from the moment I walked in the door. Great customer service. Clean atmosphere. We have had our cars detailed in the past at other places and received good jobs. Auto bella made sure everything was perfect; paint, leather, mats....everything. Nice work. You have a customer for life with us.

We brought in our older Honda to Autobella and had what we consider extensive detail services done. They did a full detail, repainted our front bumper and removed our dings. Every one of these services came out exceptional. We did not know what to expect as the car was in pretty bad shape. I was shocked to see the results. We will be referring many friends to Autobella as this was quite a pleasant surprise to have such good work done on such an old car.

Well, on the reviews I saw here I went in with my bike for a detail.

First trip in, bike was late getting finished. OK, he told me it would be ready noon the next day, fine... arrived at 4, its not put together, I wait a bit, its ready.... almost.

While being serviced a chip was taken out of the front fender. Ok, accidents happen, I can live with that. They are very upfront about it, and getting it fixed.

Take it in about a week later to get it fixed, Monday night. Wednesday (when I said I wanted it) I call twice, no answer, leave 2 messages, no callback (they have caller ID, they know who is calling). I call again Thursday morning checking on status, no status can be given (how is this possible), I am told I will get a call in 30 minutes. 3pm that afternoon I call back, am abruptly told it is ready to pick up. I show up, bike is there, but nobody to talk to about it, I leave with my bike.

Now, overall, I wouldn't mind all that. But the half a%# work done bothers me. There are actually drips on the fender that they had repainted and installed, it looks like they took it to an high school auto shop to get done and it took them 3 days to do it! forks obviously were not polished ... I could go on...

Net for me, and my recommendation. Dont let anyone here polish your old tennis shoes much less anything you hold of value.

For most of us, we have had mixed situations at various Auto detail operations as they seem to open a close often. Going to Autobella was a smart decision for me. I have been a customer with this company now for a few of years and have had only straight positive interaction, excellent service and quality. Tom has been in this industry for along time and from a small business owners perspective, will continue to do so due to his quality as a good and straight forward human being & very smart business owner. I called early on Friday morning to see if I could get in for a detail and they answered the phone at 6am. I was told to be in by 8 and they would have the car fully detailed by 1:30 and they did. My truck was filthy and I was shocked at the end result. It did not look that good when I bought it. You guys do excellent work and will be back on the next round.

We had a messy Land Cruiser from years of kids and using it for hauling everything from yard debris to family members skiing. Autobella did a remarkable job restoring our old Cruiser. We had signed in for a little bit more than just a detail job. They removed all the seats & carpet, replaced the juit pad & dyed all the leather seats. The exterior was in pretty bad shape but they were ale to bring the finish back to a high gloss. We will recommend Autobella to all our friends as this seems to be a niche operation able to do all kinds of different services on request.

Autobella did a remarkable detail on my F456. We hand an event scheduled in Seattle for the NW Ferrari club and needed this done quick as the car was in Portland. Tom scheduled me on a Saturday and the car was ready to be trucked on Monday morning. Hope to see them up in the Seattle area soon.

I brought my car in to have the interior detailed because it had a bad smell and mold had started to grow in corners and seatbelts. I had a good discussion with the owner (Cannot remember his name, sorry) and he seemed to be quite knowledgeable towards these problems. The job was completed as was discussed and the interior looks new. They even used organic water based enzymes with ozone to take care of the problem, no perfumes or slippery junk, just clean & smell free.

I was enlightened what my car looked like after the detail service. My car was over the top dirty and was apprehensive of even taking it to anyone to clean. They took most of the day but it looked great and it was dry inside.

We had visited Autobella earlier in February and were very pleased with their work. Our car had mold buildup from the snow and wet weather on the interior. When we called, the owner Tom clearly explained how there are various ways to remediate the problem. He explained that they use cultured cold enzymes and Ozone treatment to repair this issue. I dropped the car off in the morning and it was ready at 3:30 as he said it would be. Wow...this was a new car and there was no evidence of mold and the smell in the car was neutral. I also had them polish and wax the exterior of the car and that was very impressive to say the least. We will be returning as we are from Seattle and frequent Portland often.

This company brought my older Mercedes SLK230 back to life as the red paint had turned pink, the polish job was amazing. They also dyed a significant amount of the vinyl & leather interior parts which made them look as if they had never been used. Autobella does great restorative work. We will definitely recommend them for this type of work to all our colleagues.

I have a black 2005 Infiniti G35 that had not been waxed for over a year and had just been on an 1800 mile road trip. It needed help. I set up an appointment for a complete detailing. They scheduled me for the next day and did a great job. The exterior detailing in particular was excellent. It looks like a new car. The paint gloss and color really come through. The interior carpet cleaning was outstanding as well. $275 is spendier than other detail shop quotes I got, but the quality is worth the extra money. The citysearch $25 off coupon helps too. Will be back again in six months. Thanks!

Our car was filthy with dog hair and we were expecting to pick it up with dog hair still everywhere. I was surprised when we picked up the car and there was literally no hair to be found, I don't understand how they did this, the carpet in our outback was serious dog hair and it was gone and so was the smell. OK whats going on here, do you guys have some secret machine ? I will refer all my dog lover friends to Autobella, they rock on the dog factor.

Autobella is awesome!!! A half gallon of raw goat milk was spilled in our car's front seat foot area. It was a very stinky mess. We tried a few remedies, and had even taken it to a place that just sprayed air freshener on it, but nothing worked, and the smell just got worse. So we took our car to Autobella. The owner (?) was very personable and friendly on the phone and in person. We were given an appointment the day after I called. It turned out that the wool lining under our carpet had absorbed all the milk. He let us see, smell, and feel the nasty thing. They replaced our old lining, cleaned, and extracted our carpet. It was all done in a timely manner, and we didn't mind waiting in their waiting room - they even have a few toys that our daughter could play with. The cost seemed reasonable for the work that was done. After all was said and done, the owner said we could come back for another round if any smell returned. We had a great experience. Thank you, Autobella!!!

I had my scuffed bumper refinished at Autobella Lake Oswego, they did a fantastic job, I was a bit nervous as other detail type shops do not offer this service, it looked as if it never happened. Perfectionists.

Larry at autobella in Lake Oswego figured out that I'm a picky person. I needed 3 small (almost invisible) door dings removed, he made sure that there were no signs of damage when he was done. It looked like it never happened. This ding removal service is great. I will be coming back in to have my bumper refinished in the spring.

I took my stinky car that smelled like wet mold into autobella, they dried it out and detailed the interior. All the mold is gone, they also told me that if the smell came back to come by and they would re-apply an enzyme. autobella's people seem to know alot about this dangerous problem.

We live in the Los Angles area and have never experienced the top notch quality & service of a detail shop like Autobella. Our Range Rover had taken a dirty ride on I-5 and needed a good detail, Autobella definatley took care of that. They were able to fit us into their schedule at the last minute. Excellent Job.

If you have a mold problem in your car take it to these people, they seem to understand how to correctly remove mold with out leaving unwanted coverup smells. We had a leaky subaru wagon, Autobella tracked down the leak and fixed it then detailed the interior beyond what we expected.

I made an appointment to have my Mercedes detailed and a windshield chip fixed. I arrived on time and the shop was closed. I called both of Autobella's telephone numbers and got their answering machine. I left my name and number twice. I was never called back. My time is valuable and not only did Autobella waste it they weren't even professional enough to return my call and tell me why.

So I drove a gentleman's new car from New Jersey to Seattle. Somewhere between the mosquito ridden Illinois humidity and the military compounded deserts of Idaho the once spotless car acquired a layer of filth not becoming of first impressions. I was skeptical about the $50 price tag attached to what seemed would only be a "basic" wash and vacuum, but was pressed for time and went with it. Needless to say I was thoroughly impressed with the end result. Autobella's owner was knowledgeable, honest, up front, confident in his business' work and friendly to boot. The owner of the car was thrilled, I was relieved, and Autobella has a repeat client. That is, if I ever get a car.

I bought a used car that reeked of cigarette smoke and a gross, cloying fragrance. Within four hours Autobella made the car smell fresh and pleasant and did a nice detail job on the interior. Very nice staff, honest, no-nonsense approach and although they aint cheap, it was well worth the money!

After giving up on the fact that I could not clean the water spots on my car I knew it was time to get my car detailed. I ended up taking my car to Autobella and I'm happy to say they got rid of those spots. The cleaned everything, even under the hood. I was so impressed the next day I took my wife's truck in. Are vehicles look brand new. The owners are friendly and helpful too!

We took our Nissan Armada to Autobella to get detailed because it hadn't had a detail since we bought it four years ago. Yes, it needed it badly. Autobella made made it look like a new car again.

Before the detail my husband was talking about buying a new truck. I think I've convinced him to keep his Armada for at least another year because it looks like new again. Well worth the money.

Just got my 06 4Runner back from Autobella in the rain but the car looks great. There was a scheduling mixup but they made time for my car and it looks absolutely beautiful. Definitely going to come back every 6 months for the complete detail and looking forward to getting the car washed at their Lake Oswego store. I strongly recommend them if you are looking for your car detailed.

Black cars are hard to keep looking good...they are even harder to detail. Tom and the guys at Autobella in Lake Oswego did a great job on my VW R32. I had a few minor indentations that were fixed and the Black Magic Pearl paint shines like new again. Best of all, they didn't leave a bunch of white waxing compound in all the cracks and seams in the car, which is truly indicative of the word *detailing*. Good job guys...I will definitely see you again and would be happy to refer people to you...even the really picky ones!

Autobella definitely surprised me with their excellent service... i called for an appointment last minute, and they fit me in the very next morning. the owner and employees were very accomodating and friendly. my car has truly never looked so good... the presale detail is WORTH EVERY PENNY. i will definitely be coming back in the future.

My car was riddled in small dings from my kids bikes, Autobella repaired every ding & detailed the car exceeding our expectations, Along side the great service and quality, Tom was willing to go out of his way and help us with the logistics problem that we faced & bring a complicated problem to a resolve. There's no better service than this group !

I was very impressed with Autobella. Not only did Tom work with me through the icestorm when I couldn't get out of my driveway to drop off the car, he took my car which I dropped off with little notice. Besides the circumstances, my car was disguised as a dog covered in hair that had not been cleaned in years. I knew Autobella had done a great job when my friends, who normally would not carpool with me to save their lives, volunteered to jump in the back and immediately noticed that the car had been cleaned (sans the dog hair and smell). Thanks to Tom, I have friends again! (Unfortunately now they all want me to drive the daily carpool to salem!)

I dropped off my Audi A8 expecting a good detail job, when I picked it up it was way beyond a good detail job. This operation has it together, there were certain issues with my car that I did not expect to come out very well, when I looked over the car, they were all gone. These people are artists at their job.

We brought in a filthy disgusting car and it was like new when we picked it up, no more stains inside and the smell was like a new car, they also did a bit of paint touch up for free . The owner was very helpful in educating us in the process and delivering me and my children home.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Twice I have made the mistake of allowing my house sitter to use my car while I was on vacation. Twice I have had to bring my car to Autobella for an intertior detail post-vacation. My vehicle has grey suede leather seats and I called around town to find a detail shop willing to take on the challenge of removing coffee stains from the seats. Autobella did a great job of setting expectations from the start and delivered fantastic results both times. Unfortunatley, for me, Autobella is not able to accomplish the impossible, but they were able to remove most of the stains. I would certainly use Autobella again for an intertior detail, however I will not be fooled a third time by my house sitter.
I was also impressed with the high level of customer service and friendly, clean environment.

They were very precise with everything, friendly, and affordable for the amount of work done. The owner even recommended a cheap auto body guy for a small dent they couldn't fix. Minus the outer scrapes and dent, my car looked brand new.

I dropped off a filthy wreck and picked up a brand new shinny car. Inside and out, I love the work they did. If I were really picky, I could find a missed "crumb or two", but considerig what they started with...I am thrilled.

They detailed the car in.. well, in detail ;) But there were marks on the dashboard that weren't touched (although i can remove them with my finger..), the roof (interior) looked like it hadn't even been touched, there are now strange marks on the hood of the car that weren't there before, and carpet spray had been left on, leaving the vehicle with an odd smell. It looks like they wanted to leave early on a friday and simply didn't finish my car.

They had been VERY responsive before taking my money, but now they have no interest in returning my attempts to contact them.

Quite disappointed, as i'm going to have to get the car detailed again.

I took my 1997 Jaquar to Autobella to be detailed. This guy knows his stuff. They did a fantastic job. The car looked better than when I purchased it from an investment car lot 3 years ago. The floor mats, which I thought needed to be replaced because of how stained they were, looked great when I got the car back. The car looked as if they had gone over it with a fine toothed comb before I got it back to make sure they had gotten everything detailed. Customer service was clear and accurate. I had the car back in half the day. The price was the best in town.
