Nelson The Rocky Feller

Truly one of a kind. The gentleman who own the shop is VERY helpful in answering questions and assisting with jeweler issues you may have. If you don't mind digging around and being a little crowded, then go and support the locals!

Nelson the Rocky Feller is a wonderful, though unusual, shop. Filled with rocks, findings, and a zillion other items useful to glass artists, bead artists, rock hounds, etc, is it somewhat crowded if there are more than two customers in it. The owner is an excellent source of information, and a kind person, as well. Having been there many times, I am thankful this one-of-a-kind business is available in Eugene (even though I must drive 120 miles to get to it).

This place has great rocks (and actually I did purchase one), but the man who owns it is a bit creepy. I wouldn't want to go shopping here alone, but in a group it's probably ok. There is so much to look at, it can take quite some time, and much of it is very beautiful. There seems to be a story behind every piece in the place, and the owner is happy to share them with you.
