this college to anyone interested in higher learning. I got more personal attention and assistance than if I had gone to a four year college. The teachers were excellent and willing to help you whenever you needed, the corriculum was very good and the quality of the education and the teachers was excellent. The selection of classes was outstanding and the assistance from the office was very comprehensive. I was able with the assistance of the officer personnel to get financial aid and help with filling out the volumes of forms that are required.
I would highly recommend this college and the campus was great. I know a lot has changed since I went there but I felf it was a good choice and would go again. I have also taken other classes for computer studies and its great to get credit for something necessary in daily office procedure.
PROS: Good location, great staff, excellent teachers
CONS: Lines can be long during registration. Parking -- may have to walk a ways.

I really do love attending PCC. Everything is easy to find, the staff is helpful, and they help you process everything you need quickly and efficiently. Even when the bookstore gets crowded at the beginning of the quarter they work hard to get you through as quickly as possible! So far, it's been a very enjoyable experience.
PROS: great staff
CONS: not enough online classes

Portland Community College offers some great college level courses at a much cheaper rate than a state school. Who's going to know 10 years down the road if the credits towards your Bachelors came from a community college or a state school? They also offer a great number of Associates programs. Their adult education, non credit classes are terrific too. They have a number of athletic classes that you can take just to get in shape. It's a wonderful way to meet other adults with similar interests.

I love the whole PCC experience. I have recently completed my first year of college, I am a mom of three and almost 30. The online courses and evening classes make the ability to attend college obtainable. I thought I was going to have to attend college when my children all entered school, but my oldest is just starting Kindergarten in the fall, and I have a year done already. LOVE IT
PROS: The online and evening courses make it easy
CONS: The distance for me is a killer, no Newberg branch
