Merkato Ethiopian Music & Food

I went here in the middle of the summer and it was quite hot with no air conditioning. The food and service were great though, making up for the discomfort. I went with a large group and they handled us well.

I went to this place, because i was told it would have Dinner plates, ready, it was 2 oclock on a tuesday. I was told they dont prepare any food until after 5pm. THis was the second ethiopian restauraunt that sent me away! I felt very unwelcome, the young lady behind the counter, with a gap, did little to nothing to assist me. It was a very bad experience.Rude!

To me this was a gem in the rough. The food was phenomenal and the wait staff very caring and attentive. they must still be relatively new and in the process of getting their act together. So, I'll give them another 3-6 months and pay another visit. I have a feeling this place is going to be special.
