My girlfriend and I stayed at the Lodge between Christmas and New Year??s Day 2010/2011. There was a major storm coming in when we arrived at the lodge. The first night power was lost to the area and then there backup generator went out. We were told it was a very old generator. We asked how long before they would have water and electricity. They could not give us an answer, hours or days. I am on cancer medication (Tarceva) I explained to the lady at the desk I needed restroom facilities with the medication I was on and she said she understood. I was told I would receive a medical consideration and receive a refund. It is now May and I have emailed John Ditgen numerous times and was told he would look into it, but nothing ever happens. I would not recommend this Resort based on their unethical behavior.

Great view of Odell lake. Our family was there in mid November so the boats were in storage. The grounds were quiet, rustic, and clean. Grounds allow dogs, but you need to pick up after them and bring your own bags. We spent 3 days and each day tried a different hiking trail. There was a flat trail that went to two meadows, a hilly trail that was pretty long we never got to the end, and a couple more trails that we didn't have time to check out. They had a lodge with rooms up stairs and cabins. The cabins are different sizes, but all have a kitchen with most of the basic supplies. Restaurant food was good, serves could have been better, but this was off season and small staff. Our family had a wonderful stay and hope to return next year.
