I don't really care much for what this little store has to offer, it is really kind of a new age kind of destination with high prices and the staff isn't exactly overly friendly.

.

Not exactly that neat of a store unless you are in to lots of new age type gifts, books and other items. They do have some amazing pieces of wood burl furniture which I have yet to see any where else, however the cost of these items are somewhat ridiculous.

It took a couple times of being shown where the Mystic Pony was before it got branded into my head. This little store in historic downtown Gresham is probably one of the more interesting places in the Gresham area, with a selection of tarot cards, books on topics spanning Buddhism and Christianity, to Shamanism and Druidry (no, not the type from Diablo or World of Warcraft). Looking around you'll find handmade jewelery near the register, and a small yet satisfying collection of New Age music hidden near the area where you can find a lot involving Native American mythology and the like. The one thing someone has to remember before looking through all the books is to keep an open mind, and thumb through them if they catch your eye. You can't really tell for sure what you'll find whenever you go.

Pros: Big open space

Cons: Never enough books.. (course, only Powells has enough books to satiate me)

The mystic pony is unusual and out of the ordinary.

They have a little something for everyone, from young to old.

They carry an array of items like jewelry, teas, coffees, books, children's items and so much more.

The sales staff is so willing to help you find just that right gift for that someone special.

The prices are very reasonable for a gift shop.

This is a must see to visit.
