Tillamook County Creamery is a great place to stop if you are driving up the Oregon coast. Inside you will get to tour the factory where Tillamook makes their famous cheese. It is a self-guided tour and best of all FREE! You get to watch the various stages of cheese making, from the begining mixing of ingredients, to the packaging at the end. Even better, you get to taste free samples at the end! Be sure to purchase a Tillamook ice cream cone from the ice cream shop on the bottom floor.
