I have to agree with the others on this site that the service center is very disappointing. I've owned BMWs my entire life so I know what I'm getting into and what to expect.
I just purchased my first car from Kuni this past July (always purchased from Rassmussen/Portland). Car was advertised as 100k warranty. However, when my car needed service they indicated it was a typo and it wasnt under warranty and they aren't responsible. I'm sorry, but when you are spending $40k on a car, you expect to get what was advertised.

What was most disturbing though was the lack of accountability (I sent them the paperwork with their "typo" on it showing what was advertised). Couldn't get a call back, kept getting passed to people we were told were in the office but never got a call or email back. When we finally received a call it was an assistant that didn't know anything and couldn't actually discuss this issue.

I understand things happen but poor customer service in inexcusable. I will never purchase from them again and nor will anyone I come into contact with. The service manager was a disgrace to this experience and I never heard back from anyone else that we contacted. I've had better service buying a $10 plate at Target

Bought a used avalanche through them and they promised to fix my broken radio and a knocking sound in the front right suspension. went back and the tech called me a liar. I went to les schwabs and it was a bad tie rod end. which is a safety issue that Kuni decided to sell with it anyways. Took them 4 months to get me a new radio that worked and when they sent it to me it was the wrong radio.Taji is a liar and a coward. He will never return my emails or calls. I would strongly avoid this place. And for the record, I have been in the car biz for over a decade. I went here because I thought they had a good reputation..not the case.

I purchased a supposetly certified 550I from Kuni BMW with clean car fax. Since then, it has been nothing but nightmare. after purchase, I came to find out that the car had previous body work. So much for car fax report acuracy.
So far, I have taken the car in at least four times for major electrical problem in which the battery gets drained and needs jump start, and each time I had to leave my car at the dealership for 2-3 weeks. I recently decieded to get all the service record from them and came realize that by mistake they also gave me the report containing internal memos regarding the cutomer complains. In one of those reports the mechanic respond to my complain regarding the electrical problem was "Bull Crap". This is utterley irresponsible and indication of incompetency on their part. I brought this issue up with the service manager and it has been months since then, and still waiting for some kind of explanation or appology.

I took my car in for tires and service. I realized that I was not able to pick it up when I needed. They extended the loaner car as long as I needed. The car looked fabulous when I picked it up they had detailed it. Gary is a great customer service person and is quite courteous and calls when there may be some additional work needed that was unexpected. I will buy my next BMW from here.

I recently attempted to purchase a used BMW from Kuni BMW and I had a terrible experience with them.

I found a car on their lot which I was interested in, and to avoid having to go through the lengthy "negotiation game" with a salesman, I opted to use the Make an Offer option on the Kuni BMW website. As their asking price was very aggressive (even higher than KBB Retail) I made an offer and explained that my offer was based on a lot of local listings, as well as, looking at both KBB and Edmund's pricing guides. Since KBB is an average of Dealer asking prices and Edmund's is an average of selling prices, I figure true value lies somewhere in between. I then made an offer which was approximately $2000.00 higher than the Edmund's pricing guide's suggested price. I then received an e-mail from the Internet Sales Manager telling me that my offer was fair and wanted to know when I could come in and test drive the car. I went in the next day and even though he wasn't their, I test drove the car. I e-mailed him that night and told him I wanted to purchase the car and wanted to know when he would be in. He told me to come the next day, and when I did, we looked at the car together, discussed a couple of issues, and then went in to work numbers, as I wanted to see what kind of financing they had, before I decided whether to finance or pay cash. He sat me down at a desk and about 5 minutes later he came back, and told me he could sell me the car for a price which was significantly more (several thousand dollars) than what I had offered. When I asked him about the price I had offered and his comments about it being a fair offer before inviting me to come in to test drive the car, he simply said, that he couldn't sell me the car for that price. The internet Sales Manager, basically deceived me into coming in to the dealership by implying that he was willing and able to sell me the car for my offer price, and then after wasting 2 days of my time, he told me that he couldn't sell me the car for that price. It is unfortunate that a business establishment would allow any employee, much less a "manager" use dishonest & shady tactics to deceive a potential customer into thinking they could purchase for a certain price, when they had no intention of actually selling it for that.

Perhaps they are just selling so many cars these days, that they can afford to lie to people and risk losing business ??? Kuni BMW had me waste 2 days of my time unknowingly "playing a game" with a sales manager when all I wanted to do was purchase a new car.

BEWARE OF SUSPECT BUSINESS PRACTICES AT KUNI BMW !!!
