If you love Japanese food, this place is great! Try the kim chee or the noodle soups. The sushi was okay, too.

This Koji used to be my favorite... then they changed management and the quality went down-hill.

Tempura? Don't eat it here, their fryer isn't hot enough so it comes out soggy and greasy. Yuck.

This restaurant is a little bit nicer and pricier than the sushi train down the street. The food is ok, but not the best. Bentos are big, and the sushi is freshly prepared. Not a bad restaurant, but one that's pretty standard.

Way better than any Sushi Train type of resteraunt but not your fancy expensive joint. The fish is fresh (at least at the Wiedler location) and service in very genial. If I wanted to spend a third more for atmospere and presentation I

After growing up in Tokyo all my life I find it refreshing to have a place where I feel at home chatting it up with the Japanese staff and mostly authentic food. Thanks guys for making Portland a little closer to home.

I love Koji's, and find myself eating there 2-4 times per month. I've been visiting other sushi restaurants, but so far none of them have surpassed Koji's as my favorite place to go.

While it is small with limited seating, there are good times to visit. Noon-1:00 tends to be busy for the lunch hour, but I generally have lunch there around 1:00 and have never had to wait for a seat.

The service is wonderful and the food is superior. Whether you go strictly for the sushi as I do, or a delicious bowl of donburi, you will definitely be one happy camper by the time your meal is over.

Do you have a picky child that turns his nose up at anything other than fast food? Order the "chicken nuggets" found under the hot appetizer section (I can't recall the exact name, but they're lightly breaded chicken nuggets with more flavor than you could imagine.) My teenage son was doing that thing teenagers often do and refusing to enjoy anything, so he ordered what he thought would be the most boring item on the menu. Halfway through he mutters "Ok fine, these are surprisingly good.." Score one for Mom. ;)

Pros: Amazing tuna sashimi and cold soba noodles.

This restaurant offers great tasting sushi and really fresh sashimi. The prices are way more expensive than Sushiland that charges about 2 bucks per plate but the rolls here are bigger and taste much better.I had the salmon roll which was about 5-6 pieces for about 8 dollars. Only problem is that this restaurant is really tiny so you have to wait a while to get a seat and it's pretty cramped.

Food was simply terrible. service was average. Maybe I've eaten at too many excellent Japanese and sushi restaurants in my career, but this was absolutely horrid. Miniscule rubbery sashimi, overcooked shoe-leather steak, mushy vegetable

Good standard Americanized Japanase fare. The buckwheat soba noodles were good, but don't order it with beef. The special Oregon roll was also good. Service was very slow. There are certainly better options for Japenese food.
