The Marriott hotel on Naito Pkwy is a nice place to get a room if you are new to the area and staying for a brief time. There is valet parking, complementary continental breakfast and a balcony on almost every room. Swim in the indoor pool or work out in the gym downstairs, accessed only with room keys. Large beds and friendly staff make the stay an enjoyable one.

The hotel is in a good spot for the many waterfront park activities that take place often during the better weather months. It's very clean, the staff is
helpful, and the views are nice. Dont mess around with renting a car here.... skip the valet parking fees!
Portland has one of the best transit systems going, leave your car at home, you can ride everything for 3.50 a day. Good hotel, just time your stay....during the summer there are lots of riverfront activities going on.

Great customer service

Wen I called a few days before my check in day I called to confirm my reservation and even on the phone I noticed the good customer service.
When we checked in the bell hop and front desk staff were very nice and helpful. We got notch customer service from the front desk, concierge, and bell hop .
The only scar on the customer service was at the resturant Champions, one wait staff there was just short of being down right rude. The night before the staff there were as nice a everyone else at this hotel.
One other problem as that the weekday housekeeping did not fully stock my room.
The hotel has a good exercise and pool area.
Pros: They take care ot thier guest
Cons: One staff memeber scarred thier otherwise great customer service

Horrible sleep

This hotel may have a wide array of services and be conveniently located, but they forgot to ensure quality sleep. The 4 inch thick mattress left me very sore and sleep deprived. Considering the price of the hotel, this was not a good value.
Pros: location, services
Cons: small rooms, poor mattresses, expensive
