For starters, the owner is a great guy and runs a professional shop. The problem that I had was the service by the other employee there. I went in looking for a compound bow set up and stood there waiting for a good 30 minutes or so while the employee talked to his friends about hunting. I wasn't greeted or even acknowledged the entire time. When the his friends walked out, the employee started talking with two gentlemen who had just walked in while I stood next to him waiting for, at least, eye contact. After 35-40 minutes of doing laps around the room, I walked out.
This is the first time I've been treated with this amount of disrespect at any business. The few times I've been in previously (when the owner was not in) the other man working sat behind the counter until I came up to him. Again, with no greeting or acknowledgment. After reading the other reviews it seems clear that this shop is a "five star" place because of the owner. Even so, I doubt I'll be shopping here again. If anyone would like to get DMV customer service without the DMV lines, this is the place to go.
On another note, the owner has been very professional and respectful every time I've come in. I just have a hard time spending $500-600 on equipment at a place where the employee's won't make eye contact.

Great shop. All my family and friends go to see Ray. We love the workmanship and help. He has helped all three of my boys into bows as well as my brother and hunting buddy from out of state. Great guy and great shop. Thanks Ray.

awesome shop - they live and breathe archery and will take good care of you. They are not at 401 Center Street though - they are on River Road.

Ray (the owner) has a good selection of everything you need and a little of what you don't. They have a 20 yard indoor range and a virtual reality shooting game. They will tune your bow, set up strings, cut and fletch arrows, insert silencers and more. They are a smaller shop but everyone who spends 5 minutes in there will get to know everyone because everyone has a story. Parking is good, but tight for trucks.
