First, I must say that I, for the most part agree with what Brandi S. wrote about Pacific Crest Apartments. The downstairs apartments aren't all that small, but the upstairs give the appearance that they are. Their idea of remodeling is to paint everything white, and I mean everything! Doors, the cabinets, if it did not move it was painted white. Maintenence poor, they will get to a request when they get around to it. Drafty windows and doors coupled with ineffective 'zonal' heat creates a very high electric bill. Unless you like living in an icebox in the winter and an oven in the summer(no ac), expect a $200 or more a month electric bill. Before the housing market slump and credit crunch, management was pretty good to deal with, it was about customer service. Since the housing slump and credit crunch, it was like someone flipped a switch. It is no longer about the tenant, but about the money. This place has you by the kahones until your lease expires and you move out. They will nickel and dime you to death! All in all, it will cost a person about $800 - $1000 a month to live here, and it it not worth it. I could go on, but suffice it to say, the negatives outweigh the positives. For the rent and fees charged here, a person would do better looking elsewhere. For the same price, there are newer apartments with much nicer amenities. Renter beware.

If I knew then what I know now.......
First I had to put down a $1500 deposit on a kind od old apartment. I NEVER got to see the inside of my apartment till the day I moved in. If you want a "remodeled" unit you will have to pay at least $100 more per month than everyone else. The apartments are TINY. You have to pay your own water that will run you about $70-80 a month on top of your rent and you MUST pay this with your rent.....Also, It will cost you $75+ for a garage, $30+ for a parking space and $30 for a storage unit that is in the basement of the complex. They dont accept most dog breeds and ALL animals MUST be at least a year old. Also, they will charge you $400 per animal and $10 per month for a housing pet fee!!!!!!!!!!!! So, my rent on a 2BDRM 1Bath apartment is $700 + parking+ storage+ pet+water= WAAAY OVERPAYING FOR A VERY SMALL/OLD APARTMENT!!!!! I AM MOVING AS SOON AS MY LEASE IS UP IN MARCH! I DO NOT RECOMEND MOVING HERE AT ALL EVER!

These apartments my best friend lived in for quite a while. They are a bit older but still in decent shape and the rent is not spendy at all! Parking can be a bit insane but you learn to deal with it! The apartment sizes are pretty generous.Looking for a decent rental, but not alot of money look here.
