Anyone who brings their furry family member to this clinic will be so very pleased with the love and care that Dr. Kortyka gives. He has provided my family with the absolute best care for a few years now. He has seen us through the passing

Their prices are cheap, but, you get what you pay for. I took my pregnant Boxer for an ultrasound and Dr. Bean ran it. He admitted to being out of practice with it, so I shouldnt really have been surprised when, having seen only 3 pups, she ended up having 9! That was the least of our problems, however. It was Dr. Kahl who ended up actually causing the most irreparable damage though. We had two of the puppies with calcium deficiencies that we found out about the hard way. The each broke their rear right legs (in the same places and at the same time). Luckily we didnt realize one also had a break until a day later and were forced to seek another vet due to too short of notice for an appointment at Kindness. Long story short: the puppy taken to another vet (Rock Creek, run by Dave Barno) was in and out of his single cast and healed in 3 weeks. The puppy treated by Dr. Kahl wasnt so lucky. She insisted on him being re-wrapped weekly. Even then the wrap was always placed so low that it gave him too much movement in the knee joint (which Dr. Kahl actually said was ok!) naturally resulting in a very slow and sloppy healing process. Even when I insisted she put an actual cast on she only hesitantly put on a sort of webbed netting beneath the bandage wrap. So, here we are after 6 weeks of treatment solely by Dr. Kahl, and we have a 5 month old puppy who will always have a leg slightly bowed in and that he favors/limps on and is unable to flex entirely because of the inexcusable ineptitude of a very stubborn vet. We also took a puppy in with abdominal pain after ingesting some pebbles. When they took X-rays they stretched his front arms over his head so high they dislocated them and he couldnt walk for a couple days. This Dr. Kahl tried to shame us into believing was our fault and as much as accused us of abuse of our puppies. I fount her attitude comical, as we spent thousands of dollars caring for our puppies that they misdiagnosed and mishandled. I could go on, believe it or not, but Ill end it here as I feel this is damning enough evidence of their incompetence; specifically that of Dr. Kahl. But, yes, most the others were freindly. Only when Barbara Kahl have them thinking we were abusive for a short time did we notice a couple of the young counter staff girls snubbing us with their dirty looks and comments.

I've been taking my dogs to Kindness Family Pet Clinic for about 4 1/2 years. I've always been treated with respect, and my dogs love the place, which is really saying something because my dogs are particular. When doing OFA exams, the ex-rays are always done correctly, the staff is efficient, knowledgeable, and the vets in this clinic are top notch. I've recommended them before, and will again in the future.

When calling to make an appointment, I asked to speak directly to a technician to get a feel for the hospital and get my questions about the neuter proceedure for my dog directly answered. The person I spoke with was rude, stubborn, and unwilling to answer my questions. Apparently it's a bother to them to let me know over the phone whether they have an office with up to date equipment and friendly staff. The technician became very deffensive when I asked what type of anesthesia they used. (There are many different types. Some are safer than others.) The technician absolutely refused to tell me what type of anesthesia would be used on my pet, and told me if I wanted to know, that I would have to come in and waste my time and money to find out! Type of anesthesia is not a national secret! I told her that if she was so uncomfortable with the anesthesia they were using, that I certianly would not be coming there!

Now this is a wonderful caring great place to bring your pets. The staff and Dr Bean are the greatest people on earth. They are a team of people who care about the owners and more the animals well being. They have even made it easy for owners to make payments towards their bill and when your loved one passes they are right there for you. We will never change vets as long as I have animals. They are the best!

Kindness Family Pet Clinic is the best place in town for your pets. My family has been taking their pets there for several years and we've never been unhappy. I always walk away completely satisfied and happy that they are taking the best care for my pet. The place is extremely clean and the people are really nice and caring.
