This is an Historic Hotel with a wonderful facelift in recent years. Ask for a 6th floor room --these have balconies with gorgeous views of downtown portland--a good spot for business or pleasure

We booked a business meeting for 2 full days. We actually got to meet in the executive board room which had beautiful dark wood cabinets and huge wood table. The room was a tad dark, with no windows but it still worked well for our purposes. The catering staff were helpful and had good suggestions of how to stay in budget. Tasty food also.

I was the maid of honor in a wedding and I needed to get into the room early, to do all of the usual preparations. Needless to say, I was able to get into the room and get my 4 dozen rose petals on the floor. I even had some left over
