Stay far away from Astoria Ford. You can get a better deal elsewhere. Their sales staff are a bunch of slime bags. Want everything their way, don't want to help you get the car you want. Everything is about them, them, them! They will milk you for every penny you got just to fill their pocket.

They are a bunch of slime bags there. Do not try and waste your time purchasing a car from them. Or you will be sorry. They rush out to get your money, faster than you made it. They hound and hound to get you to agree to their deal's.

I heard about the $10 Oil Change special Astoria Ford was having and went down to try it out. The staff was very courteous, got me in promptly and serviced my vehicle quickly and efficiently. I plan on going back.

Lock your doors and drive thru fast! Theres only one way in and one way out, so they can pounce on you. They stand in the window, and then they fight each other to get to your car.

Pros: you feel smart after talking to the sales staff

Cons: to many to list

.

The car sales man are a bunch of vultures. I was trying to just browse Thur there inventory and they kept hounding me. When I called the parts department another time the guy treated me like an idiot.

This business is the only Ford dealer from the Oregon coast to the I-5 corridor. It is worth the time spent and gas used to patronize a different Ford dealer. The staff are not knowledgeable about their product (example: a salesperson told me that the only way to get into the back seat of an extended-cab F-150 was to climb between the two front seats! and was amazed when I showed him the second door on each side of the vehicle), but they are skilled in high-pressure sales tactics.

Expect to see the salesperson, the person's manager and the sales manager before you get off the premises. There is no such thing as browsing, either. As a family that has only owned Ford trucks for over 20 years, we will not be going back to Ford after our experiences at this dealership.

PROS: A 30-minute drive from home vs a 2-hour drive to the next closest dealer
CONS: High pressure and poor service

Message from Dane Gouge's Astoria Ford

Ford Motor Company has a long history in Astoria, dating back to the 1920's. The original Ford dealership was located in downtown Astoria, behind the Astor Hotel. This was back in the days of the Model T and later the Model A.
