*****Here is the rest of my review The next morning I called the downtown shop to check on my dress and hopefully talk to someone who knew what was going on. They referred me to their ??wedding dress specialist?? named Chelsea. When I spoke with Chelsea she said that they were not going to clean my dress and that if it had already been cleaned two years ago when my best friend wore it they couldn??t get it any cleaner. I told Chelsea that I needed to have my dress cleaned as it was still dirty from before, she said she could try to spot clean it but that they wouldn??t have time to press it. At this point I began to get a little frustrated because I specifically said I needed it pressed and cleaned. Stephanie told me that they needed more than one dress to clean in order to run the machine to even attempt to clean my dress. I suggested that they run the machine with just my dress even thought they typically like to clean more than one at a time. She said she couldn??t do that for me. I decided I was going to go in the next day and talk with someone in person. My best friend was in town because my wedding was now only a few days away. She and I went to the downtown shop and talked with a woman working there at 5:40pm and said I wanted to try on my dress and look at it because they said they were not going to clean it anymore than spot cleaning or press it. She grumbled about closing at 6 and that she didn??t want to miss her bus, she was not polite, nor enjoyable to interact with. If their hours say that they are open until 6pm than that??s how late they are open until?period! Finally she brought my dress out and I put it into a dressing room to try it on. When I took the plastic cover off of it to my surprise it still had many bustles in the train and there were still sticks and dirt across the bottom of the dress. At this point my best friend came unglued. She went out and tried to tell them about what we have gone through with this dress and with the terrible service at Bee cleaners. The woman working quickly changed her tune and tried to accommodate by stating that tomorrow morning she would come in and see what she could do to take care of the situation. Mind you this was a Wednesday afternoon at 5:40pm and I was getting married that Saturday! I had just been told that after 1 months of having my dress and not doing the alterations correctly that they were not going to have it cleaned or pressed in time! The woman then continued to tell me that she wished she knew that my dresses needed to be cleaned because they had just ran a load of dresses that day?do you recall earlier in the saga Chelsea told me (on Tuesday) that she couldn??t clean my dress because she needed more dresses to clean? Wednesday was the day they cleaned more dresses just not mine! We left the cleaners and began emergency calling dry cleaners to see what we could get done in one day. We found a dry cleaner in Multnomah Village called Multnomah Cleaners their information is as follows: 7827 SW Capitol Hwy Portland, OR 97219-2465(503) 245-3703. It??s a great place run by a husband and wife and they took my dress in Thursday morning, the wife stayed up Thursday night cleaning, pressing and altering my wedding dress! It was ready first thing Friday morning to be taken up to the wedding venue! They were amazing! After all that Bee cleaners couldn??t do in a month Multnomah cleaners did in one day! The dress was re-cleaned, pressed and altered. The ??uncleanable?? dress was white and beautiful the day of the wedding! After all that Bee cleaners didn??t do they still charged us $50 to pick up the dress and for their time!!! This by far was the worst experience at a dry cleaner that I have ever had! DON??T EVER GO TO BEE CLEANERS!!!

They don't do any work here, so don't expect them to be able to help you when your order is not done when it is supposed to have been done. Also, the red head girl is rude and condescending. When asked what I should do because I was flying out that day she said I should have cleaned my suite earlier and that there was nothing I could do!! Reviews for their other locations imply the same terrible attitude and the previous posters experience although turned out ok in the end, started the same way as my experience.

End of the story is, I had to drive to their 10th street location looking for my order, only to find out it had been delivered to another location by mistake. At that point I had to leave to catch my plane.

Don't ever go here! I did receive my order back eventually however they made me pay for it after everything they had done. I was met with rudeness and blank stares from employees.

This place is horrible! Do not bring your stuff here. They are untimely, disorganized, rude and incredibly expensive. My clothes did not feel like they were even cleaned and they took over 1 month to return my upholstery (not to mention they could not locate where it was for some of that time). I honestly don't know how this place is surviving, especially in NW Portland.

I would not even put a star with this one if I could. This place is terrible. The pants I took in to be hemmed were two weeks late and ruined. The tailor hemmed them too short and now I can't even wear them, not to mention the hem job was not to my specifics and looked like she spent 1 minute on them. It looked worse then I could do. They were brand new pants. I called and spoke to the owner who was rude and only after I told him I would not accept bringing them back in did he finally give me a refund. It took two phone calls for him to even talk to me about it. Do not go to this place.

I have never written before, but I was reminded this morning about how horrible this cleaners is, and I wish to warn others. As I pull out my winter clothes for the season, I see several items that they have ruined. I have several formerly white items that are various shades of dingy yellow or gray as a result of my bringing them to Uptown. Steer clear of these people. I complained about and brought back a shirt that was quite colorful with white trim, where they ran the colors onto the white trim. They said they would fix it. They have had it for eight months with no response. It took them six months and a complaint to a civic organization to replace a button on a jacket. I switched to them because their competitor down the street ruined a shirt. But at least he quickly issued compensation. So I am back at the old cleaners. At least he is honorable.

Unfriendly staff, which was turn off #1, and then on top of it I got ripped off, since they did bad job cleaning and their alterations are a joke, so I will have to go somewhere else to fix it. Absolutely do not recommend and will not go back. They don't seem to care about customers or their clothes. I gave it 1 star only because I couldn't post this without at least something. I'd rather give no stars.

Update: I went back because I paid way too much for apparently nothing. Their female taylor seems to be psychotic (her rudeness without a cause indicates that all is not well with her anyway). Why they keep her I don't know. She is mean to a paying customer (thanks to whom she has a job in the first place)??? Hmmm.... Strange joint.

Yet another update: So when i went there the first time, a month ago, i was told it'll be 2 weeks for my coat to be cleaned and mended. When I came to pick it up after 2 weeks I was charged $36 for 1 sweater, that coat, and a pair of jeans that needed to be hemmed but will have to be redone of course elsewhere since the hem job is a joke. Anyway, when i picked up the coat nothing was done to it at all, all the spots were there and nothing was fixed. Yet I was stupid enough to pay. So they said it'll be another 2 weeks for it to be fixed. Do I get a refund or a discount or an apology? Nope. Today it's been 2 weeks since, and I went to pick it up. What do I get? Won't be ready 'till Monday (and it was way too hard for them to call and tell me so I wouldn't have to go in the rain). And yet again no hi, no bye, no "sorry you had to pay for nothing and wait more than a month to get your stuff back". Yeah...

I brought a suit (a jacket and pants), pants, and 5 sweaters. The total cost $46.75. Nor sure if the price is good or bad, but 4 out of 5 sweaters came back shrunk as if I washed them in a washer. I won't be going back.

reasonable prices and very good service. dry cleaned a suit. convenient free parking, located near zupans and 24hr starbucks and NW 23rd. Much better than the Bee cleaners in downtown portland.
