Footwear Express

This store is amazing! The selection is wonderful and the salespeople are very knowledgeable. The staff is very friendly and is not pushy at all. I've been told that they don't work on commission so they don't feel the need to pressure people. I won't go to Shoe Mill because the people are pushy and don't seem to know anything about the shoes. My favorite helper at Footwear Express is Erin. She has worked there for many years and that girl sure knows her shoes and has a lot of patience. I like that the sales girls will spend a long time finding what is just right since I am diabetic and have other foot and health problems. I have also been helped by Celeste and Chelsea and they are both good too. Prices are comparable to other shops in town but the service and choices are far superior. I only wish they had a handicapped parking space in front of the door but I can usually find a spot on Commercial that is close enough.

This store is only really worth while if you go in when the right staff are working. It seems that most of the girls are young college students motivated more by their studying than by their jobs. However, there are a couple great staff and if one of them happens to be working, I am more than happy to stay and shop.

They have a great selection of European shoes. My favorites are the Danskos and Chacos. I can almost always find what I want in the store, but they have been great at special ordering me items as well. Prices are comparable to those of Shoe Mill.
