Delicious food, good service, awesome sake list  5 Star Rating - World class

Incredible food, best sushi in the city I think, but the sake list is even more impressive.

I think I counted close to 20 different sakes on their immediate list, plus a special they were offering off the menu?

Great stuff. Asked for a nigori and they offered THREE TYPES! I'm an avid sushi and sake lover, and to have a restaurant be able to offer three nigori sake's is just incredible. I've been back twice now, and can't wait for the next visit.

Just delicious!

Good Food at a price..  4 Star Rating - Very good

The sushi and other food at Fuji is good, however i found it a bit expensive for the type of resturant that it was. The sushi ranges from 7 to 16 a roll in a not terribly upscale atmosphere. The fish is fresh and you can taste that, however i would not recommend it for an every day place.

bad sushi and worse service 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

the portions are small. fish not fresh. they also charge for tea! the service can be incredibly slow and the waitresses are hardly apologetic about it. I also hate when one person's food comes 30min before another in the same party. would not recommend it at all!!!

Pros: none
Cons: slow service. bad sushi. mean waitresses

Fuji Mountain- Food, Drinks, and Service are Amazing! 5 Star Rating - World class

I was at Fuji Mountain last Friday and it was exactly what I needed after a stressful week of work. The service is amazing, especially on the 3rd floor. The bartender Sam offers anything you want, and makes the drinks just strong enough but at the same time delicious. You should try his sake bombs and or this Soju martini mix that is my new go to drink. The sushi was surprisingly some of the best I've had in Philly. I thought I knew all of the best sushi places in Philly, but I had no idea Fuji was right up there with all the other trendy places. It's quality, fresh, sushi with some great specialty rolls. My favorite is the "Washington roll" and I am craving it now just thinking about it. If you want a classy decor, hilarious and friendly bartenders, strong drinks, and a chill spot where you can get ridiculous fresh sushi, Fuji is it.

Pros: Fresh Delicious Sushi, Hilarious & chill bartenders, Strong drinks, Young adults

Best Bartenders Around with Best Sushi Around = Fantastic 5 Star Rating - World class

First off, let me just say that the 2 bartenders, Sam and John, that are usually there Thursday - Saturday are phenomenal. My company goes there for some happy hour sake bombing every now and then for about a year now. We always get excellent service, they serve you up fast and friendly and the drink selection is like you'd find at any high end bar. Plus they're fun to chat with and they make the bar come alive with conversation and fun. The bar upstairs also has a karaoke machine, which is a lot of laughs/fun after a bunch of sake bombs.

Second of all, the sushi is the best I've had in Philadelphia. Mizu sushi and POD sushi are ok, but Fuji Mountain really makes the sushi the way it's supposed to be made. Everything tempura is fantastic here. They have a great selection of maki and nigiri. I particularly like their hamachi rolls.

If you want to eat mouth watering sushi, go here. If you want to have an awesome bar experience, go here. One of my favorite places in Philadelphia and well worth the prices.

Cheers!

Pros: Bartenders, Service, Sushi, Ambience, Karaoke
Cons: Can get crowded, can be pricey

Customer service and food is terrible 2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

I do not usually write reviews, but after going to this place i had too. It is terrible. My fiance and i went there for her 25th birthday and I was not able to eat after 2 hours of sitting there. The place is small and similar to any regular sushi spot. Furthermore, i ordered shrimp dumplings for my appetizer and they were similar to dumplings from any take out crappy spot from the corner. Nothing special. My fiance ordered the Sukiyaki, which was extra Sucky Yucky, and no Suki Suki. I ordered some basic rolls. The waiter brought my fiance's food out first and did not even acknowledge me. After about 20 minutes she gave us some half a$$ apology. She came by later after another 20 minutes and another half a$$ apology. I then told her i do not want the food anymore. This place is terrible and i was not the only one disappointed with their service. There were several customers from upstairs continually coming down with mean faces ready to burst. This place is not worth wasting your time. Do not go there.

Pros: The bottled saki
Cons: I didn't get my food

Awesome V-day Dinner 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Fuji provided my boyfriend I a very pleasant and impecable service to make our first Valentine's together a night to remember. We were 45 minutes late for our reservations due to parking issues but they still held our table and were very helpful explaining certain items on the menu that we weren't sure of and suggesting a delicious new beer for my boyfriend to try. The decor is simply amazing and it's an all around great atmosphere with excellent staff. The rolls were a little smaller then what we are used to, but the prics complimented that...A+++
