I am at evans every weekend it is a great place to go. I am on team bounce we are local and skate their every week and its not gonna close anytime soon i dont beleive... anyways but i love this place

Hello, I have read all of your reviews, and as an Employee of that Rink, I have to say, you are all very right. They do need to update that place, but I have to omit -- Ever since they put that place on the market, they have been putting more money into it.

Yes, the birthday parties are very cheap, as well as food & admission. I've been working there for awhile, and I can honestly say that the owners have treated us like pure gold. They are wonderful to us. They treat us like family there.

The pay is good, and I personally enjoy making everyone there have a good time. The owner once told me that you have to treat 30 people there the same as you would treat 100 people there. We really appreciate all of your business and dedicaton to our Rink.

However, if the new owner does not keep it a Roller Rink, I will truly miss that place. I will miss the family I had there. I will miss all of the Employee get togethers and Christmas parties. It was because of the owner, John Evan Jr. that I was able to buy their Apartments out back. It was sad when John Evan passed away last year.

But untill they sell, I can keep my line..."All Skate !"

Well, I heard some stuff about Evan's. Is it for sale, and are we able to still go skating? I sure hope so. Next weekend...I have friend's coming over..and we are going there. My mom tries to call, and no one picks up. So, if anyone has been there recently please let me know. Can we rent skates still? Is the adminition still the same? Yea, I hope so. True, but maybe they have new carpet and bathrooms. They do need to update some of it. I rather prefer not say comments on it. Just leave it at the one I had just said. I agree with you ladies and gentlemen no your updating parts of Evans. Also, I always went to Evans Skateland like almost every weekend with my buddies. I hope it goes off markets. I will really miss that place. Only thing that'll be left is bowling allies. But, I guess that's okay. All right, I hope someone gets back to me on this. Let me everything you know? I like thier place a lot. Its awsome and so much fun!!! Well, anyways if they do close I still have the memories and music in my head and my friends probably do also. I'm sure of that one. Money wise they do have good prices. No doubt about it. The specialization is good towards others. They do meet my exceptations and others I know, same with the deal of money and specializied in anything. I would reconmend them any day to someone that may be looking for a blast of fun or just anything out there in Erie,Pa. My expercience was cool. I loved it here. They always know the right word for FUN! *Laughs*

I agree.. Evans brings a LOT of memories. I practically grew up in the rink in the 90's. I looks exactly the same and that same smell that is on your clothes when you get home. I actually talked to Jack & Brad and they are selling. I hope someone can go in there and remodel and revitalize it!!! It was great back in the day

This Skateland is EXACTLY the same as it was in 1990! Same Bathroom's, and dare I say carpeting. I know or heard that it is on sale right now, so who ever buys it NEEDS to do some updates for sure, but over all it is a fun place to skate. The skates are REALLY old as well, but if you don't bring your own you get what you pay for.I had a birthday party for my child there last year, and while it was rushed for the party room, it was a decent party overall.

I hadnt been roller skating in years. A friend suggested we get our toddlers out and go skating ~ I am so glad we did. Evans looks pretty much the same now as it did 20 years ago. From the carpeted mushrooms that you sit on to change your skates to the skate rental booth. The floor is nice and smooth and the D.J. plays the tunes that make you want to "shake yo tailfeather!" We recently had a Birthday Party at Evans and you just cant beat the price ~ we had a blast. If I had to change one thing, it would be to update the bathrooms!!!

PROS: FUN!
CONS: Carpeting is OLD, Bathroom is OLD!
