The pizza is good and great prices, they have a variety of speciality pies that are always a nice choice. Great for lunch in a pinch. Also, do corporate lunches.

The toppings are always fresh and the delivery is quick! Whenever friends come to visit we always have to order at least once.

This place makes great pizza and is convienently located near the corner of North 3rd and Market streets. It's in a hole in a wall put the pizza are priced right tasty and fresh.

Two slices of pizza will fill you up while you wait for the bus.

This is the first stop for a slice of pizza in Old City. A few two person tables. They do not have fancy slices so much but a simple lovely slice they do perfectly.

This is a review of the store on 11th st - I need to warn you that I believe the food preparers cannot read English even though my order was hand printed in large letters"NO ANCHOVIES"- My issue is that although my order listed NO anchovies with the greek salad, they disregarded it and I discovered it when I returned to the office 3 blocks later- I am strongly allergic to fish so i needed to return and have them prepare a new salad - it wasn't worth the trip

I moved to DC area and everytime I come back to Philly, Gianfranco is my first stop for my chicken ranch pizza. The people are super friendly and there are a variety of pies to choose from. Above all, the pies are SOOOO~~~ GOOD~~~ My favorite is the Chicken Ranch pizza. They have great cheese steaks as well. They toast it in the oven and it is 100 times better than Quiznos. I definitely recommend this place. BEST PIZZA IN PHILLY!!!!!

I used to like this place the most- but I'm so sick of all the pizza places hiring Mexicans to make the pies. This place has become so inconsistent, I don't even bother eating here anymore. I'll take Tacconelli's where craft still matters any day. I think they are the only place besides Lorenzo's that still have Italian's doing the job.

Thumbs down.

Love the pizza! The owner is really nice and accommodating. The first time we went, he let us try a few slices of specialty pizza for free! The shrimp bisque pizza is great!

Who said they have good pizza? The thin crusted mushroom pizza is NASTY. It's burnt up. Sorry, my own opinion. In fact, someone else said the same thing.

I work in society hill between Market St and South and I am always looking for a decent cheap place to eat lunch. i picked up a menu at a local bank and decided it would be worth trying. I am glad I did. At first I was a little apprehensive due to the decor; but, when i looked at the pizza I could immediately tell that this was good pizza. It had a nice thin crispy crust and an even balance of sauce and cheese. My plain slice had no greese, a sure sign that are using 100% mozzarella as opposed to a mixture with provolone. I will definitely be back many times for more.

Everyone has their own personal preferences weather it is thick doughy bread or thin crisp crust, sliced buffalo mozzaerella or shredded mozzarella, sauce on top or sauce on the bottom. We have tried 10 pizza shops in Philly so far and over 30 in Delaware County and this has been by far our favorite. We tried tomato and riccota, pepperoni and just sauce and these slices were huge.

My office orders from Gianfranco's pretty frequently. The delivery service is gut-achingly slow, but the pizza is generally delicious with the thin crispy/chewy crust, delightful toppings etc. The only thing is that due to the slow service, you frequently end up with lukewarm pies, but its nothing that a few minutes in the toaster oven/few seconds in the microwave can't fix. Also, they got new ovens last summer, and they seem to be working out some kinks with that which results in sometimes burnt or undercooked pizza.

The pizza was some of the best I've had from a mom & pop pizza joint. I'll be going back again when I'm in town.

....is a good pizza shop. Very few places in Philadelphia do pizza right. Certainly, it's not like the NY pizza I grew up with (which some believe is the best city for pizza in the world), but this place comes very close. I go out of my way for a hot slice of Gianfranco's. And, yes...they deliver!!

For some reason, the city of philadelphia has a serious pizza problem. The puffy crusted greek style of pizza prevails and alot of it is undercooked. Rustica, thankfully, is thin crusted, well cooked and delicious.

Good Pizza, but terrible delivery service: My order was simple enough - large 1/2 plain, 1/2 pepperoni. I live 2 blocks from Gianfranco's and they should not have been busy as it was 9:45pm on a Thursday night. Regardless, my delivery took 1 hour and the pizza arrived lukewarm. Here's a tip: invest the 20$ for a heat bag.
