Like this course alot. The price is fair, and the food is very good. The course is better earlier in the year. Near the end of summer, it starts to get a little tired. The par three's are deceptively hard. In particular the 15th which is a downhill 90 yd par three across a creek. The green is thin from the tee, and it plays between clubs. I think in all the times I have been there I may have hit it in regulation once. It just gives me fits (and the rest of my foursome).
The 12th hole is my favorite. Narrow landing area that dog legs right and is easy to go through. Approach shot has to be long enough to take a big tree out of play, but not so long that you are through the fairway and over the bank.
Overall the course has some really cool holes and being able to hit it straight is a big plus here.
My only beef is the condition of the course in late summer, and the fact that the driving range uses old balls that don't go anywhere when you smack em.

Macoby Run is definitely one to check out. Some big benders, long par 5's, and big drops and elevated greens. A challenge every couple of holes. The place is fairly well maintained. Lots of play, but the fact they sell 6-packs with a bag of ice makes it worth the wait sometimes.
