I so miss Amigo Mio. I moved to Florida, and everytime my sister and her husband go there to eat, they call me and I drool!! I love the ala carte menu, the fresh made tortillas, the red sauce, the guacamole, the nachos, chicken flautas. I would love to open one down here with Mama Mio's recipes!! If you are looking for volume, then go to the fast food Mexican chains, if you want authentic Mexico City, go to Amigo Mio's. Best Strawberry Margaritas!!!

They offer authentic great tasting Mexican cuisine. Their food is fresh, service is attentive, and you will feel relaxed while eating..Prices are very low I always spend under 10.00 for 2 full meals.

My wife and I have been dining here for 20 years. Intimate. Hand squeezed limes for your beverage. Simple, quiet. smoke free. and did i mention romantic? The food is very good. The kitchen is clean. The chicken Flautas are my favorite. Friendly, efficient, great value.

Yummy is the food here. But you need to follow their rules (reminds me of a specific Seinfield episode, heh). Cash only and it's open from 6-9:00pm Wed-Fri. Fixed menu, very inexpensive. My fav are the tacos and the flauta. Fabulous [strong] margaritas and rum & cokes. There is a tiny bar, it feels like you're in someone's living room. In the summer there's typically a long wait, and since it's small often you're standing outside. The wait is well worth it.

Pros: Great fresh tasting food, great value for money.

Cons: cash only, limited serving time & days of the week, can get cramped

Thoroughly disappointing dining experience. Very limited menu and extremely small ala carte portions. The totillas had the consistency of a brick and you received about 10 for $3.75. The not so authentic salsa came in salad dispensers to pour on food. I'd recommend saving $30, or $40 on dinner for two to Taco Bell or frozen 99 cent burritos or Banquet Mexican entrees. You may still not have the ambiance of real Mexican, but you'll still have $30 to eat elsewhere, when you're done.

PROS: The taco meat was pretty good. Authentic Montezuma's revenge.
CONS: 75 characters wouldn't begin to describe the deficiencies.
