Bought a 05 Honda civic coupe ex in Dec wit 108.000 miles Since I've had it, its been in the shop numerous times and had numerous repairs but what makes me mad is that every time I picked it up from the shop something else would go wrong with the d**n car a couple or few weeks later I have a 1 year warranty or 12,500 so head gasket was replaced on there dime but they took my car for 5 days did not give me a rental or a loaner they expected me to come out of pocket for it two bad I'm only 19 and couldn't get a rental,

1. maintenance Inspection(claimed my car was good with no problem)
2. (3 to 4weeks later)Head gasket need replaced
3. (2 weeks later)Time belt tension was never put on from the head gasket repair that needed fixed couldn't use my ac in the summer for 1 week until they fixed it.
4. Trunk latch stopped working(claimed the guy who put my subs in locked it and broke it but little do they know the guy who put my subs in put them in after the trunk latch stopped working)
5. 1 day later I couldn't get my gas release latch to open they messed it up when they fixed my trunk latch
6. Mirror was smacked off by someone( was not Honda fault but I had that fixed by them for 300 total on Thursday)
7. that following Saturday my car was making a rattling noise and engine was shaking they claim it was all maintenance/wear & tear problems and I had to paid 642.00 out of my pocket for all these repairs

For me to only have the car for 8 months and at 122,062 miles on the last repair that it ridiculous that my car has had this many problems since I had the car I will never ever buy a vehicle from faulkner honda I too will go to there competitors

If I could select zero stars I would. This is the WORST place to ever go for your car to be serviced. I spoke with David A. Travis a few days ago to verify if my 04 Honda was covered under the extended warranty for when the radio backlight goes out. He checked my VIN number and said I was covered and set up an appointment to bring in my car. I told them to check why my lock on the passenger side door wasn't working as well with the automatic locks. They called me back after taking it in, telling me that my car is not covered under the VIN and David was just pulling things out of his ass. So I took off a day of work, only to have to drop off my car for nothing to be done with it. Not only that, they check my passenger side door, and put the door back together, now it rattles like hell. When I called in to complain about that, I was further told, "this wasn't their problem". Even though THEY made the door rattle. Do not take your car here no matter what! Two of my friends have bought cars here, both had many problems within a week. One had to get an attorney just to get them to help. I am contacting Honda to file a complaint. This dealership is the worst I have ever seen. Go to Bobby Rahal. I bought the car there and they are nothing but friendly. I have taken it in for service there as well, and they do a phenomenal job. Only tried Faulkner because it was convenient....NEVER AGAIN. I am a college student and will make sure to pass this information around to EVERYONE I SEE with a Honda!

We found a pretty good deal on our new car here, thanks to a friend who has been using them for many years, but unfortunately we did not have the best experience with the business office. At signing, we saw that something was wrong with the order of names on the registration and he assured us that it didn't matter... well it turned out it mattered a lot and we've had to spend excess time on the phone and repeat unnecessary paperwork in order to secure insurance. (They didn't confirm insurance on who turned out to be the "primary" buyer before we drove off the lot... isn't that illegal?) My insurance agent notified them and me of the problem with the names right away, so we followed up with Honda and they told us everything had been taken care of. More than a week later and they STILL had not. They are NOT accountable for what they say they have done. Later they thought had all the info they needed... when in fact they were looking at the file for someone else with the same last name! After all of this they (JASON M. especially) will go to great lengths to tell you and your poor insurance agent that YOU are wrong... when in fact you are right. They just want to sell and rush you out of there, when they should have addressed our question honestly when we mentioned it the first time. What a pain! You shouldn't have to educate your own car dealer! And BTW- their financing page? NOT a secure page (https://) to enter your personal data, even if they "assure" you it is. Liars. Be careful not to get your identity stolen.

I bought a 2006 Honda ridgeline 2 weeks ago, they are sweet talking salesman and look honest and reputable, we agreed on the price and they promised to clean the stain on the seats and do some touch up on some scratches on the body paint, but the next day I saw some more damage under the rear bumper, I called the sales Manager, and I talked to person name Darryl(sales manager) and explain to him that there are some more damaged under the bumper and I ask him If they can also fix that because I just didn't see it when I bought it. Darryl said Oh you bought a used car and don't expect that my salesman will climb to cars just to look for any damage etc etc,,,,my question to him was do you consider to fix it when I saw it right away and include that to the touch up that you promised to for the damage that i saw during the transaction? He said we'll not fixing that because you didn't see it. For all of you planning to buy used car, go somewhere else because these people doesn't know how to handle business in a human way, they will ripped you off even in a few dollars.

Pros: they did a good job on the fit up of the work

Stan Baker was the guy who sold us our Civic. We had a very good experience with Faulkner and would consider them when we have to purchase a car again. So far the car's gone 160,000 miles with very limited maintenance. Hope it goes for another 5 years or more!

In general, the dealership will do a better job on your car than the local mechanic. But this is not the case. My Honda Accord was running great before I brought it in for 120K miles service. The service mechanic told me that my car need this done, that done.. blah blah.. so I told them go ahead and proceed with whatever necessary. BOOMMMM.. the bill came out to be $1600+ (500 for part). So I thought my car would be in a great shape now since I have to pay that much for service. But no.. it's actually worse now. My car is keeping on jerking when I hit the gas pedal. I came back and ask them what is wrong with it. The mechanic told me that the part that hold the engine together was deteriorated so he had to replace with the new one because the engine was loose. So I asked him.. BUt that still doesn't explain why my car is jerking right now. Then he said that my car is getting old!!! 127,000 miles for a 1999 Honda is NOT OLD. I have couple other Honda that got more than 150K miles on them and they're running great. So now that they're refusing to admit that they screwed it up while duing service to my car. I will never go back to this place again regardless that they're the only Honda dealership in Harrisburg. I will fill a BBB complain against them.

Have not used Faulkner to purchase but have used the service department. Service department is excellent with great pricing. Have found they do work for less than your private repair facilities. Have used the bodyshop and work was excellent, Coordination with insurance went very smooth. The one problem we had was resolved the same day.

I had a really pleasant experience purchasing a used vehicle here. The staff was friendly but not pushy, which is a rare balance to strike in car shopping. My transaction was swift and easy, and the dealer gave me different financing options which I liked. The car had a current carfax report included which was also nice and they did Honda's standard inspection on the car. I still get service notices in the mail to remind me when it is due for service.

Highly recommend.

We have shopped for cars here before. My sister actually got her car here. You do have to watch- they told her 1,000 more then what it said online. They did give her that price thou. They also have some "nice" salesmen. I would just check prices online before hand.
