Society Hill Dance Academy was opened in order to create an environment where people can gather, socialize and share their love of dancing. We encourage all members of the community (not just the dancers) to come and meet their peers and have a good time. My daughters didnt really care for this place. One is 5 and the other is 7. They came home and decided they would like to try somewhere else. They liked the staff but just didnt care if they went back or not.

Best dance studio in town

A friend of mine recommended the studio to me last year as the "best dance studio" in town. I have to agree. I love this place. I do not have enough good things to say about it; excellent teachers, beautiful space, friendly staff; great music. I took several group classes (salsa, tango, etc) and the space was more than adequate for our purposes. Especially compared to other studios in town, the space could be considered "huge":) The prices are cheaper as well. There are classes for Singles; for kids, for wedding couples, in addition to general group classes-even hip hop and tap (my favorite) The only minus I can think of is that dancing is addictive:)

amazing place!

We came in unsure of what to expect. Being new to dance, we were nervous, but our wonderful instructor put us at ease. We learned so much & had such fun in our first lesson that we decided to come back every week! The space is beautiful and Shana made us feel so welcome!
Pros: friendly staff, beautiful space
