Something for everyone!

I have stopped by this store many times and since September of last year (2006), the store has been improving greatly. The new owner that took over last September has been revamping the inventory so there is something for everyone! You can find anything from incense, bath and body products, tapers, hand carved,and amazing scented candles to Willow Tree, hunting gifts, holiday items, music boxes, and handmade clocks. The owner said that she likes to get new and interesting items in. A lot of the items are made locally, such as the clocks, earrings, 'Quillows' (pillows that unfold into a quilt that you can put your feet in... I have one!), candles, and the calming music that is playing as you enter the store. This is definitely not a store to pass up whether you are just visiting Lancaster County or live right down the street and want to pick up something nice for yourself or a friend.

good for tourists

This is one of those stores that just seems to be aimed at tourists and not locals. Most of the stuff here is Amish and touristy. Average everyday shoppers may find it to be too much of a tourist shop for them. It is not the place to go for everyday gift ideas as the selection seems limited to me, but I am used to stores that have a little bit of everything and not everything all of the same remote theme, in this case Lancaster County and Amish country.
