This was the worst vet experience I have ever had. Dr Son clearly does not care for animals. He treated my dog as if he were scared of her (she's an old, friendly european chocolate lab), wanted me to submit her for "overnight" examinations that included giving her anasthesia to give her a full exam (never heard of that one before) and charged me for services that he did not give (shots that I had refused). The reviews for him are right. He's pretty terrible.

I called this place because it was nearby and on the Morris Shelter list for places that accept their spay certificate. We took our kitten there in the AM - no one in sight - not another creature except the man who runs the place. He showed clear dismay when I produced the certificate and quickly informed me that if there were complications it would cost extra. He told me to call back at 6. When I did so he first told me there had been complications and our kitten would have to stay overnight. Then said that his assistant had not shown up and the surgery had not yet been done, to call later in the night. I got off the phone and came to this website and red the reviews. Called back and said we would be picking up the kitten in 20 minutes. He informed me that he had already mailed the certificate to Morris for reimbursement! We left with our kitten feeling a huge sense of relief.

I use to work there and he was hurting animals in the surg room the drugs did not work at all they was from 2008 no no meds.He is very rude and disrespectful.l told me to shut up and i quit and he is to high and he tell people one price and when they get there its a different price. He can't stay with one person more than 2-4 months. He tell animals to shut up because they still feel the needles going in them and when they are being cut opening and than put more drugs in them. And the kennel is falling a part the walls have debris and hard floor and the dogs sleep on hard floors. i felt sorry for the animal i try to make it home for thembut i know they could it wait to go home

I took my puppy there for his first visit ,I was told to bring his stool sample in.And that he needed his first shots .He told me that he might not be to active for the first day because due to the shots that he received. He also gave me interceptor to give him once a month.well my dog was sick for 4 days I called to find out if the stool sample came out OK and was told that he has tapeworms. After talking to some friends they said not go back there. So I went to the Wissahicken vets and found out that he does not have tapeworms and the reason he was sick was due to the wrong dose they give me for the intercepor, the vet never even weighed him to find the right dose. stay away from this place

Tonight, as my dog is on her deathbed, the man who answered gave me an appointment for 16 hours later. I called to cancel because we decided to bring her back to her regular vet in Northeastern, PA... when I called to cancel the appointment, I explained the situation and the man simply stated, "I see," and abruptly hung up on me.

3 years ago, I brought my then recently adopted dog to this vet on recommendation. She was adopted with what we were told, by the vet, was a combination of kennel cough and a mild ear infection due to her shelter conditions."It should clear up."
I can't even remember how many appointments and ointments later, how many nights she would wake up itching and convulsing from the itching, and then vomiting. I decided to get a second opinion, because I was scared. My dog was not improving and the vets at this place, continued to prescribe and suggest the same combination of things.
Within the first 10 minutes of the appointment at the new vet, I was told that her ears, and her "cough", and her vomiting, were all due to one thing. Food allergies. We changed her food, she was put on an "elimination diet" and within a week her ears had cleared up completely and she was normal.
She did experience permanent hearing loss from this, but only partially but the new vet, who is now THE vet, said that if we were to have waited and continued on with the treatments from Rox. Animal Hospital, she would have had to get her ear REMOVED. Surgically removed.
They have either no idea what they're doing, or more disturbingly, they do know, they just like money more than general well-being of animals entrusted in their care.

Well i took my sick dog to roxboro hospital everything seemed cool until i read the reviews, in time of emergency i was not thinking so i took her there anyway because i was freaking out, shes had some type of poisoning. The doc treated her really well, then he gave me 3 different type of pills that did not have the label of what it was so that made me think twice about it, i called my vet which hes an hour away and told me to tell the doc to send him the medication and once i talked to him he was like"what is this guy doing" well for poisoning he gave my dog penicillin and lime disease pills?? really!! well my vet is writing a letter to the board because it is illegal to prescribe medication without the full information. be careful were you go i strongly recommend www.newtownvet.com I just found out the guys license is revoked!!! get your money back people!

First of all the place is super dirty looking. I foster kittens for PAWS and spend my own money on kittens while attending college. I came home yesterday from work to find one of my kittens near death on the floor. Since I live right across the street pretty much I literally ran across the street, the "doctor" and I use that term loosely told me he was dying and would be dead within a hour, he told me I had the option of giving him fluids but chances are it would not help. Euthing him would be the best option. I asked how much it would be to do that. He said $50. For an animal that is going to die any minute why do that?! I took him home and layed on my bathroom floor for 5 hours, he miraciously bounced back. This guy sucks.

I took my puppy there for his neuter surgery and I had a terrible experience. My dog was returned to me COVERED IN BLOOD. When the doctor saw that I was freaking out about the presentation of the dog, he whisked him away and told me that it was a mistake and he was not ready to go home yet. He told me to come back the next day, as he pushed me out the door. When I finally got him home, his stitches were infected and he ripped them out. After TWO emergency trips to the vet he is finally okay! This doctor is horrible. I placed a craig's list posting about this experience and i received over 50 e-mails of people telling similar experiences. Two occasions, pets have been killed there accidentally! DO NOT USE DR. KYU SON YI

My cats were prescribed pills that looked exactly the same and were not labeled as to what they were for conditions as different as diarrhea/GI illness to respiratory illness to hair loss. I find it hard to believe that the same pills would work for all these things and frankly I think the whole thing may have been a scam. I was charged $250.00 each time I took my cats there. I treated my cat's hair loss at home with antifungal cream and it cleared up. I think I'm a better doctor than this guy is.

My wife took her 5 month Chihuahua in to see these people - her dog had become listless with bloody stool, glazed eyes, no appetite and would not even drink water and was vomiting profusely. The vet was informed that the puppy had not had it's shots and this SHOULD have casued him to check for Parvo - they're classic symptoms.

He did not - he prescribed pills but neglectedto label them as to what they were, said that the vomiting was from eating grass, and pretty much pushed her through the doors.

The dog had to be taken to UPenn vet clinic the following day to the tune of $600, AFTER spending $120 for nothing at this place. Parvo was the first thing they checked.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
