bella brothers did a basement remodel in my home and some flooring in the living room and dining room of my home, and i have to say that the work that was done was completely what me and Tom had discussed in our initial meeting. i am not familiar with what goes into getting home remodeling and tom broke it down for me each step of the way. my basement was a mess and was barely recognizable as a basement and the guys came in and transformed it into a sort of sanctuary for my children. i could not believe that this is my basement now, each step of the way i was wowed at the progress these guys made in the basement and then with the flooring upstairs. it is very rare that you can find a contracting company this professional and upscale with their affordable prices, i will definitely be a faithful customer for bella brothers.

I was checking in just to give a rave review to Bella Brothers for an unbelievable kitchen and bathroom remodel. Ive had many remodeling jobs completed in several homes throughout the years, so I have experience with many different contractors. I must say I have NEVER came across a contractor of Tom Denicolo's (the owner) professionalism, integrity and attention to detail. The complete experience was second to none! Bravo Bella Brothers Construction, I can not wait to work with them again!
Just a small side note -- I read the review from joe B, and I just find it extremely hard to belive the complaint he gave. Their communication system between office personnel, emails, blackberry, cell phone text messages made it a cinch to stay in contact at all times with the company. It may have been some odd circumstances that you had with them joe B, but I would definitely give them a second chance if I were you. The experience I have had with them only proves that Im sure it would be worth your while.

I hired Bella Brother to scrape wallpaper, skim coat and to install a door and storm door. The first complaint is that they left my house dirty after performing the skim coat and ruined my floors. My other complaint is that my contract called for a storm door and they refused to call me back and install it. After three months trying to get my storm door installed I finally had to call a lawyer. They are the worst contractors I have ever dealt with.

My wife and I couldn't be happier with the kitchen Bella Brothers built us. After having several other contractors work on my home, this is by far the best work I've seen. I thought it was great that I had 3 generations of Dominics working at my house. I was happy to know it was a family owned business. They were on time, and called ahead the one time they were late. This has been my best contractor experience, and I have had a lot of other work done in the past. We already have Tom taking measurements of our master bathroom.

Bella Brothers is the most honest, friendly, and dependable contractor I have ever worked with. I would recommend them first over any other contractor in Philadelphia.

Not who/what they claim to be at bidding. They sub-contract your work out to others, despite saying they don't. Work just passed as ok, but very sloppy. Comcast had to come fix pulled cables. One guy thought I was crazy to require the new $700 door to have the mail slot covered (so not to expose the inner insulation). It's an included piece of the door, and installation cost!! They would show up very late and often didn't show for appointments. Their receptionist even joked that this is "typical contractor behavior" but I was promised that Bella Brothers didn't work that way. More expensive then others, but I fell for his "we're a family company" pitch. Don't make my mistake.

ultimately we were happy

When the contractors were finally out of our house and the major mess they left was all cleaned up, we were suitably happy with the extensive additions to our house. We were able to achieve more than we thought we could afford and on the surface everything looks quite nice. However, attention to detail was a problem from start to finish (and it certainly took a long time for the jobs to be finished). They were some integrity issues and In some cases we just gave up.
Pros: price point
Cons: lacks attention to detail

I got Tom and his company Bella Brothers Construction to come in and redo my kitchen and some miscellaneous work throughout the home. I have to say that i was completely impressed with how smooth and quick everything went. There was no detail that wasnt addressed from the initial meeting to the very ending. The men showed up everyday ready to work and were professional throughout the duration of the job. I have a sick grandmother living with me, she even noted how respectful the men were while they were there. I can not wait to have Bella Brothers come out and complete more work in the future. I have recommended them to everyone so far in hopes that my friends and family can have the same delightful experience I had too.
