Well where shall I start.
Great place if you want ripped off. they charged me close to 500 for a hub when it only cost 200. 16 for a light that you can go to a local parts store and get two for $2.
They dont know regulations when it comes to inspections I had to show them the reg...and then they try to act like they are doing you a fav by letting it pass without it.
You set up an appt for 11 and dont get a call until 1pm when the job only take 45min or so. then they say it will be done at 4pm and it is not done for 3 hour past that.
DO NOT go their if you want the job right and a staff that knows what they are talking about!

December 23rd I droped my car off to get a allignmnet done on all 4 wheels. I was doing some christmas shoping in the Franklin Mills Mall so i thought it would convience me to have tires plus do it instead of driving 30 miles back to my mechanic. 2 hours past and they had not even started. I asked them before I left if they could check my transmission fluid and now on my car its a Manual transmission so the only way to check this is from the bottom of my car not under the hood like Automatic cars. Well when i got there the car was not ready so i decided to wait with it which took another 45 minuts. and well they told me my Right Front Strut was to damage do to exessive play and that they cant do the allignment. Turns out there is not damage to my struts and they wanted to charge me alot of money. 150$ per Strut. which comes to 300$ and then they tried to tell me labor cost like all this money so the total bill would of come to 950$ just for parts and 2 hours of work. The part store sold them to me for 45$ a piece. Also how i know they dont know where there talking about is that they dont know how to check the transmissiion by the engine when I assumed they knew it was on the bottome the car.

I purchased tires two years ago and they were Michelin. They sold me a high performance tire I didn't need and now the tires are half worn after two years and they did not give me a mileage warranty. It cost me $700 for the tires. Very disreputable place to buy tires and I had to call the home office and when I went back, they wanted to sell me inferior tires. Will never do business with them again.

Although I have a neighborhood mechanic that a truly trust, I often found it convenient to use the Tire's Plus at Franklin Mills Mall as it is right next door to my gym. My initial theory was that I could drop my car off, do my workout (I spend 3+ hours at the gym) and have my vehicle ready to go when I return. Not once was my vehicle ready when promised -- not even close. In fact, most times they had not even started on the vehicle by the time I returned.

A couple of months back I dropped my car off for state inspection. I have a 96 Explorer in excellent condition and with extremely low mileage. When I returned I was told that I failed because my upper ball joint on the passengar side was bad. I was also advised that the upper ball joints cannot be replaced, that they have to replace the entire control arm. They quoted a price of over $200.00 for the part and over $200.00 for the labor. As it was late in the day I told them I would bring it back a couple of days later on my next trip to the gym.

The next day I called Pep Boys to find out the cost of the control arm. The retail price was $99.99. Tire's Plus' quote of over $200.00 seemed quite high. I decided to take my car to my local mechanic who I truly trust (see my review of Pete's Auto Service Center). I told him that I needed an upper control arm due to bad upper ball joint, that the part cost $99.99 and asked what he would charge for the repair. He jacked up the vehicle and found that the upper ball joint was perfectly fine, that it had no "play" whatsoever. It was the lower ball joint that was defective and in need of replacement. The lower ball joint can be replaced (unlike the upper which as stated previously requires a new control arm).

I find it a true disgrace that such a major misdiagnosis can be made. To think that I would have spent over $400.00 and still had the same problem is quite upsetting. I would never trust the mechanics at Tires Plus again.

Additionally, I'd like to note that I have a
