Horrible. Do not GO HERE! Even the STATE took issue with her! Seems RULES don't matter with her!
Carol Lynn Yeisley, license no. BV-007078-L,
of Temple, Berks County, was suspended, stayed
in favor of probation on the conditions that Yeisley
not perform major surgery in her veterinary facility
until it is inspected and approved by the Board
and that she segregate her practice of veterinary
medicine from her work as a wildlife rehabilitator
and bird breeder. The Board also imposed a
$2,000.00 civil penalty. (8-14-02)

When I first moved to the area, I was looking for a vet (I have several cats) who was close to my house and was reasonalbly priced. I chose this place and chose poorly. One of my cats was having an issue with her teeth so I took her in. The vet examined her and decided that she would have to remove 1 or 2 teeth. As I was still new to the area, I gave her my cell number (still didn't have a land line yet) and asked her to call with an update right away. I didn't call the next day figuring she had the surgery and would be resting. I waited until late afternoon to call the next day and was told the vet was out and she would call me. On the third day, I called and was asking how my cat was doing and wondering why no one was calling me. Again, I was told the vet was out and she would call me. Finally, on the fourth day, I went to the vet and demanded to know what was going on. I was told that because my number was long distance, the staff was not allowed to call it (remember, I was new to the area). When I questioned what was going on with my cat, the vet finally appeared and took me to a room to let me know that my cat was fine, but had 11 teeth pulled!!! When I asked why I was not called and told this, she said that she didn't think it was a big deal! At this time I was more than aggrevated and was quite curt with her when presented with the bill. I was charge for the removal of the teeth, drugs, observance (not sure what that is) of the animal, 4 days of kenneling and a few things that just sent me over the edge. I told the vet, who had no intentions of lowering the bill dispite the situation and my state of mind, that this was outrageous and we needed to talk about how much I was actually going to pay. I could tell that the vet was upset with me because I was upset with her, but she did not know how to handle the situation. When all was said and done, I paid what I thought was reasonable, told the vet that I could not believe a vet would treat someone like I was treated and told her I would never recommend to her anyone! This was just outrageous!!!
