The Waterfront

The Waterfront has made Homestead the "place to be" again. With its shops and atmosphere, this is a wonderful place to spend the day. Whether it's dinner and a movie or shopping, there is something for everyone here in a unique environment.

This is a wonderful place to shop. Every store you need in one place. There are two drawbacks for this area:
1. You would need to drive between mall sections.
2. Most evenings there are a lot of trains passing through, so unless you're going East of the city you will usually get stuck waiting for a train to pass.

The Waterfront has emerged into one of Pittsburgh's hottest "places to be". Included in this area is a large Loewe's cinemas, dozens of restaurants, a great shopping area with stores such as Victoria's Secret, Ann Taylor LOFT, Abercrombie, Dick's, Target, etc., as well as entertainment venues. These entertainment establishments include a Dave & Buster's, a piano bar, Improv comedy club, among others. This is a great place to be in the evenings and on the weekend, however there is one large drawback: it is VERY crowded.
