La Petite Academy

I looked at many daycares in the area, and ultimateley did not choose this one for their open classroom setting. Built after the 70's style of open classroom theories. Persoanlly, I thought it was noisy, and taking an infant there would bother me. But I have heard they have a great afterschool program and often nsee lots of children playing on nthe playground.

La Petite is a nice daycare. We felt like it was a good place for our children when they needed daycare. Choosing a daycare is very hard, its your kids for Pete's sake.

I would say that over time the staff quality dropped and went back up and dropped again, so they at least seemed to be aware of issues.

La Petite does a decent job, and they were flexible with our part time requirements as well.

Sending my daughter to daycare was a hard decision, but this place has made it a lot easier. I feel comfortable with them there and when we pick her up we know she had a good time. They have an open door policy, and I know that I can drop in any time and see how she's doing.

One great feature that they offer is a transition week, where I can drop her off for a little bit each day to make sure that she (and I) can make the adjustment.

They are always very happy to see her each day and provide me with a chart of what she did each day, which has been helpful. It's very rare that we pick her up and she's not happily playing with a toy or swinging in her swing.
