I will spare you all the details of my torment. I took a vehicle to Cranberry Auto Center to have a transmission repaired. I dropped it off at the end of May, I am going to pick it up today, the beginning of October. I had the vihicle for 1 week, in the middle of September, then I took the vehicle back to them to fix it because it was not right. I am now going to get it so that I can take it to a business that has a concern about their reputation or customer service, at least a little bit. I will gladly pay someone else to finish the job rather than wait for Dan (the owner) to lie to me AGAIN or make up another excuse.
I WOULD NOT LET THIS PLACE FIX MY BICYCLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This place is awesome if you like being left on the side of the road. After calling and being assured that they would be sending a truck in 30 minutes, but an hour later one never arrived, nor did they call to tell us that they were leaving us on the side of the road. Luckly, a state trooper stopped by and helped us find a awesome towing company called Ferras who showed up well within the time they quoted with a flatbed and were friendly and helpful also cheaper then the price we would've paid to be towed by the company that left us on the side of the road. I called this morning to ask them why they left us and the "owner" who i spoke to was extremely rude hung up on my twice and basically berated me. After telling me that we "were not the only ones who broke down last night". I realize we were not the only ones who broke down, we also likely were not the only ones left on the side of the road for hours. After talking to a few people I have heard this is something they are known for so if you would like to get an actual tow or any type of customer service id strongly suggest somewhere else. I would walk the 30 miles before calling this tow company again!.
I took my car to Cranberry Auto Center for a simple inspection. Not only was it not completed in a timely manner but I had to return the next day for additional repairs. Two months later I went to another repair shop only to find that there were additional things wrong that should have been corrected upon inspection.
PROS: Reasonable price
CONS: Poor quality
