I came here for brunch and was pretty disapointed. I had heard good things but I ordered apple juice and it was covered in green foam. Im sure it was from a juicer or something but I'm just not into that. Yuck.

Love this place like no other around Philly. Big fan of their coffee but it's the food that draws me back. It's a small little place which is a bit of a shame on the days when the folks are lining up but i have no problem waiting.

Pros: overall excellent experience

Cons: waiting lines

Whenever I visit my friend in Philly, we always stop here for brunch! The creme brulee french toast is amazing! And I've heard nothing but good things about the rest of their breakfast dishes. I honestly couldn't tell you about lunch since I've never been... oh, and FYI, it's cash-only.

Ants Pants Cafe is a really cute and cozy breakfast spot in the Graduate Hospital Neighborhood. The coffee menu is especially great. The place is tiny and can get pretty crowded but they offer breakfast to-go if you do not want to wait.

I don't know whether it was the fact that it was a Monday, and the Monday crew is 4th string and can't handle holiday crowds, but the service, food, everything was horrendous on Labor Day. The waitress wandered around like a deer in the headlights. Dishes were being sent back left and right. The normally friendly and competent staff seemed overwhelmed and irritated by the long line going out the door (even though half the tables were empty). This is a management problem. Need to plan better for a holiday weekend and put up your A-team. I will never go back.

Pros: Usually good

Cons: Completely disappointing

Ant's Pants is small so it can be crowded and you may have to wait, but it is really worth it. The food is all super fresh and tasty. My personal favorite is the bacon stack - country toast an egg, bacon, arugula, and parm. It's delicious.

what an exceptional place!!! i thought i was going into a little coffee shop- how excited was i to find that they offer breakfast & lunch as well. i had the eggs benedict and a cup of joe (of the austrailian variety i believe) and i cant complain about a thing. the decor is really quaint and there were smiles all around from the staff. the menu consisted of a good deal of sandwiches and salads as well and there's a beautiful selection of pastries in the front case. i absolutely look forward to going back.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. There was a little bit of a wait to get a table, and then the service at the table was slow because they were short on employees. BUT the food was fantastic - The dill scrambled eggs with honey wheat toast and feta cheese, and the hungry man with eggs, bacon, and french toast. Good sized delicious side of crispy fries. The courtyard in the back is adorable. The fresh squeezed OJ wasn't exactly fresh squeezed OJ, but whatever it was, it was good. Finished off the meal with an iced chocolate to go - ice cream, chocolate sauce, and something else, don't know what, a homemade concoction, delicious!
