The staff here is very nice but I feel the doctor cares more about money than he does about the patients. My dog died two days after he his visit. I'm sure the rough treatment he received there caused a tumor to burst open. They have their x-ray machine in the basement, down a narrow set of steps of an old residence! My dog couldn't negotiate them, in fact hasn't been able to negotiate stairs for years, and I had told them that (a large breed, senior dog) and my dog slipped and fell on the steps a couple of times, causing the tumor to burst. My opinion is that the vet is too cheap to add a room on for the care of his patients. My dog can't be the only one that has suffered for the lack of adequate facilities.

We started to take our dear beloved Sadie to Doctor Ingold after her lymphoma diagnosis at another facility. We were looking for a more compassionate and caring veterinarian to start chemotherapy treatments. To start, the receptionist Beth and veterinary technician Dottie are wonderful individuals. Beth was always greeting us happily and Dottie was always answering my calls about my sweet Sadie. When we called about getting Sadie in for a consultation about chemotherapy treatments, they told us that Doctor Ingold was booked. (he is the only veterinarian at the facility) We made it clear that this case was urgent and that she needed to be seen promptly. It was not too long after that phone call that we were called back. Dottie was on the line letting us know that Doctor Ingold wanted a consultation with us that Thursday. Upon entering the facility for the first time, we were greeted compassionately by Beth. When we walked back into the exam room the vet tech got on the floor with Sadie to take her temperature and they were very gentle with getting her onto the scale. We waited minimal time and then we met Doctor Ingold. He got straight to the point of our visit and discussing how we could treat our lovely Sadie. He was well prepared and for the things he did not necessarily recall (since chemotherapy was not done too often at his office) he looked them up right there in the drug book. He gave us his honest straight forward opinions on treatment and stated the possible side effects. He answered all of our questions and asked if we had any as he went along. He got us an estimate in a timely fashion and started Sadie on comfort measures until treatment could begin. As we went on with waiting until the drugs were there at his office, Sadie's cancer was being aggressive. There were two or three times where we had to call Dr. Ingold outside of office hours. We loved that we could reach him at any given time. He is on call 24/7. This is the first veterinary that we had that did this. It is so benefical to have a professional there when you need them the most. For one of our visits, Sadie was not feeling well so he got on the floor and worked with her instead of making it a hassle to her to get up on the exam table. He recommended only the necessary tests and did not try to sell us something we did not need. Unfortunately the night before we began treatments, our beloved Sadie passed away from cancer metastasis. We called Dr. Ingold and they told us to bring her in. He waited there for us until we could get ourselves together. He waited an hour after closing time just for us. He was compassionate and caring about the loss of our loved one. Only 2 days later we received a wonderful sympathy card with such a wonderful surprise in it, her paw print. I would recommend Dr. Ingold and his staff to anyone who truly cares about their animals. They are kind, compassionate, and sincere. They treat your animals with kindness and love. The prices are definitely fair for what you receive. In the future, we will always chose Dr. Ingold for our pets needs.

This animal hospital really caters to the animals. My dog is very finicky when he goes to the vet and they put him at ease through the whole process. They are very thorough and do an excellent job!
