Tommy Gentekos Hair Salon

I have gone to many salons in Philadelphia and now living in South Jersey I've tried a few here. I have wanted a new look for so long and I've been afraid to trust any stylist. Tommy gave me a new shorter look and I love it. I get compliments on my cut constantly. Tommy is a magician with hair, I always leave feeling great and my hair looks healthy and stylish. He is very honest and will listen to you and help you decide on the best cut and color.

I was in the supermarket , standing behind a woman and i notice her hair. The cut, the color.. the healthy look of it. It took me a few minutes to get up the nerve to ask her who did her hair. She immediately gushed "'Tommy" and told me all about him. I have difficult hair.. fine and curly. He actually listened to me.. cut my hair the way I wanted it... with some helpful suggestions. In the end it was happy me.. happy hair! Now with a few highlights I am tossing my hair with the best of them.. Thank you "Tommy"!

I found Tommy years ago by asking a woman on the street with a fabulous haircut who had done her hair. I followed him from salon to salon...moved away from Philadelphia and lived overseas and in Florida for over 20 years...and the minute I moved back to Philadelphia I looked him up. I've never found anyone anywhere else I've lived with his kind of talent. He works WITH your hair to style it and has an unerring sense for what looks good, plus he can do wonderful, completely natural looking color. He absolutely is one of Philadelphia's best kept secrets.
