My girlfriend and I went there last night to try something different. We heard many good things about the place but were so poorly disappointed when we went. We got there @ 9pm and there were 7 other people in the place besides us. On top

You got to be paying attention to find this place as it is in a business development. Once you do find it you will be glad you did. They have a good bar and outdoor smoking section (no smoking inside) and feature some of the better musical acts as well.
4Although hard to find from the street! Once there you will enjoy the atmosphere here! Plenty of room to sit at a table or stand and listen to the live music. Great drink service, I didn't eat here.
4The Jazz Cafe is a great place to go when you are looking for something different. Always a great band and good drinks. Check it out to getaway from your usual hangouts.
4The River Street Jazz Cafe is the perfect place for a night out, especially when you need a change from the usual techno or hard rock clubs. The grounds are simply yet beautifully landscaped with aged brick, curving pathways, and flowering plants. Parking is wonderful because the cafe is set in amongst offices which are closed for the evening. I have seen the best local and national Blues, Homegrown, Reggae, Jam, R&B, Hip Hop, World, and Jazz bands. The lighting is low, but there are plenty of chairs, two-seaters, long tables, and a well-stocked bar which runs the whole length of the left hand side of the main room. One cute touch is the butcher paper and boxes of crayons they use to cover the larger tables. It's so wild to see what a crowd of partying adults come up with at the end of the night. Some audience pictures have even been used by various artists for CD covers! Just one caution - watch out for beer or other drink specials because a mixed drink can get very, very pricey.
