My dog loves this kennel. Anne at the front desk held my hand through the whole dayschool evaluation process. I was more nervous than my dog and my dog just loves her. I would recommend this kennel to any friend or family member.

My husband and I are going thru a nasty divorce. So he wanted to hurt me by taking my dog to a kennel and not tell me where she was. I was heartbroken, and called EVERY kennel with 30 miles of my house, even the SPCA. Of course I was crying and upset but every kennel that I spoke to was very understanding and checked to see if my dog was at their kennel. (keep in mind my dog was gone for DAYS) All the kennels were understanding but one, Molly's Country Kennels, as I did with the other kennels, I explain the situation that my husband took my dog to hurt me. I even told them that I had her avid microchip number that she was register under me and no one else. Well, I want everyone to know Molly's Country Kennels refused to help me. And guess what, she was there the whole time ! I'm sad that they knew my dog was there and knew I was upset and refused to help me. Anybody who loves animals should have understood the situation...right?\r\n

Warning: understand their policies before you leave your dog there. It is their policy (ask them!) to leave the dogs in indoor cement kennels 24 hours a day unless you pay for extra ""playtime activities."" They do not let them out to go to the bathroom!! Says the employee, ""oh, he can just go in the kennel, and we will clean it up."" This is their policy! My housebroken dog would make himself miserable trying to hold it! Yes you can pay to have the dog walked/let out (it adds up) but even that, the kennel considers three outings in a day generous and no outings happen after five pm. So don't leave your dog there if he can't hold it from 5pm till the next morning. \r\nLetting your dog out to pee 5 minutes 3 times a day is and extra service at $8.75 a day and according to their website ""perfect for a pet that likes to move and shake."" Have any of these people ever owned a dog?? Potty breaks are mandatory, not extra, and I expect them when I board my dog. Three is not even close to enough potty breaks in a day and 5 minutes does not constitute exercise for a dog who needs to 'move and shake'.\r\nThis kennel has also shared my email address with other customers and they have repeatedly spammed my email with copies of their newsletter (seven in a week) without a way to unsubscribe.

I love this place and so does my dog. Buddy, my dog drags me in the office and tries to get behind the desk with the staff every time we go there. That behavior makes me feel great because I know he wants to be be there with them and is having a good time. I just also boarded my cat this last stay because it was a longer trip this time and she also came home happy and I know she can be very nasty at times. They said she warmed up to one person more than others so that person did most of her care and that made me feel wonderful. \r\n\r\nThank you to all the staff at Molly's Country Kennels.\r\n

I'm in Highschool, and I worked at Molly's over the summer last year. I was very skeptical because this was my first job and I always linked kennels with dogs locked up all day and dirty. Well that wasn't the case at all. Every day every dog pen is completely washed and disinfected. They then get a fresh bed and food. Also, I was a walker and I know how much effort we put into walkin the dogs. We walk them all around the property and let them interact safely and have a good time. Also, the Guy who wrote the Definetely Not Recommended review, he was there while i was working. He was being a complete a*shole and b!tch to John (the guy at the counter). We serve customers by their order, if you call, then you're just as important as when you're there. John was helping a customer and this guy wouldn't settle down. Also, his dog was scheduled for a bath, but we always bathe the dogs right before pickup. Well he decided to come way early and didn't call. So we had to scramble the poor stressed out dog into the tub and give him a bath. Then the guy just stormed out. This dude was nuts! Over all, I like the whole Molly's operation and plan on working there again next summer.

This is my first review of a business but I have to say I was so worried when I knew I had to board my baby. I had never left her before. The staff was so nice and warm and when I left her she wanted to be with them and when I picked up today she was happy to see me but also happy with the staff. They all were very good at what they do. They really know dogs and made my dog and me feel good about leaving my baby.\r\nThankyou Molly's Country Kennels.

I picked up my dogs a couple of days ago from boarding after a long week. I decided to write this after see Molly's facebook page. The woman in the office is always nice to me even if I am in a crabby mood from a bad week. She lets me vent to her about my issues and always gives me a way to look at the better side. She also pointed out to me once how my dogs are unconditional even when I am in a bad mood. Today I realized that even when she could be having a bad day she manages to make mine better. I have been using Molly's for a few years now and my dogs love going and they love to see her. About a year ago she had suggested in a very friendly way making it a point to not offend me that I change their dog food so my dogs who were usually thin filled out better. Not only did the food change make my dogs gorgeous they also poop alot less. This kennel is wonderful and their staff is incredible. I am glad I have this place as part of my dogs lives.\r\nI HIGHLY suggest this kennel.

I have not written a review before but I am so glad I came on here to do so. Because when I read the review ""Definitely NOT recommended"" I realized I was behind this man in line and he was a complete ASS. He is not telling the truth. The staff perosn at the desk was on the phone when we walked in and motioned he would be right with us. This man acted like a child in the waiting area- slamming thiings, slamming his hand on the counter, yelling ""there is a real customer right here in front of you"" in the staff person's face while he was trying to finish with the customer on the phone. The person had to put the phone on hold and ask this man to stop behaving like that which he only stopped for about 2 min then started again. I was embarrassed because when it was my turn the staff person asked if I was with that man and I snapped ""Oh my god no I am not"" he then apologized for that mans behavior and I told him that man should be apologizing and I can not believe you took his dog.\r\n\r\nI actually went on here to write my first review ever and was amazed that I was in the waiting area with that jerk.\r\n\r\nBUT- I love this kennel- My dog loves this kennel, I have been going there for several years and always felt good that my dog loves leaving me to be there. The staff is always accommadating. The manager has even driven my dog home when I had car trouble once. And when that happened I could see my dog was happy to be home but was not sure if he wanted to leave with her again, which made me feel so good.\r\n\r\nThank God Molly's exists !!!

This review is about their boarding ""service"" only.\nFrom my rating you can tell that I was/am not happy from the ?service?. I am especially not happy about the state that I found my dog in at pick-up.\n\n1 - Customer Service: When I took my dog to check-in for his 2 day stay, I was made to wait 15 minutes before anybody would talk to me. Evidently their phone calls are more important than the person who is standing there who already has a reservation made. Also, I got there 30 minutes early when picking him up expecting that I?d wait. There were quite a few people in the office. They didn?t open the door until 2 minutes past the time they advertise. I?d expect that from government agencies and the post office, but a private business? I dont think they would have lost much if I picked up my dog 10 minutes early?\n2 - Pricing: They have a nightly fee, which ONLY includes the cage/pen that the dog is in. Even if you bring your own food they charge you $2.50 per feeding. Yes, you pay for your dog to eat your food. They have walks for 5-10-15 min durations, so your dog could be stuck in his pen for 23hrs 45 minutes if you ?only? paid $10 extra per day. Their 1 to 2 hour activities start from $20 and up (on top of the nightly rate). The biggest concern to me was that they charge FULL boarding rate for the day that you are checking OUT your dog even if you get him at 11am. Most places will only charge for activity rates (i.e. daycare). How would you like it if your hotel charged you for the night of the day you check out? \n3 - Activities: Upon check-out, I could not get a single word of feedback about how my dog did. They could not report anything to me. All I heard was ?well we don?t have any notes about him up here so that?s a good sign?. Well, did he go on the trails? Did he interact with other dogs? Was he able to sleep? Did he have accidents? Was he scared in the kennel environment? \n4 - When I picked him up, he was VERY scared, his fur was sticky all over the bottom part of his body and he smelled like urine among some other strong/unfamiliar odors. I asked if he had an accident, and they only said they didnt see any evidence of that. So where did the stickiness come from? ?He might have gone in the pool? but when I asked them on check-in they said that the pool activities weren?t available because the pool was closed. And what do you mean he ?might have?? I thought these dogs were being treated like family? And how can I trust now that he actually did take part in any of the activities that I signed him up for?\nOverall, I did not see any evidence of my dog being treated like family. I had to tell them his name 4 times before they knew who I was there to pick-up. And this after I?d called an hour ahead of time to let them know I was coming. \nThe only reason I am writing this negative review about them was because I had such a high expectation from reading the other reviews on Molly?s. I was beyond disappointed when I found my dog in the state that he was in after paying $60 per night!! \nI would NOT recommend Molly?s boarding to any friend or family. \nAlso, while picking up I was given a ?coupon? for 5 dollars off next time if I brought in a print-out of my ?positive feedback on Facebook for Molly?s?.\nI just hope that my dog can forgive me for whatever he went through over the weekend!

Yes, you pay for your dog to eat your food. They have walks for 5-10-15 min durations, so your dog could be stuck in his pen for 23hrs 45 minutes if you ??only? paid $10 extra per day.
3 - Activities: Upon check-out, I could not get a single word of feedback about how my dog did. They could not report anything to me. All I heard was ??well we don??t have any notes about him up here so that??s a good sign?. Well, did he go on the trails? Did he interact with other dogs? Was he able to sleep? Did he have accidents? Was he scared in the kennel environment?
4 - When I picked him up, he was VERY scared, his fur was sticky all over the bottom part of his body and he smelled like urine among some other strong/unfamiliar odors. I asked if he had an accident, and they only said they didnt see any evidence of that. So where did the stickiness come from? ??He might have gone in the pool? but when I asked them on check-in they said that the pool activities weren??t available because the pool was closed. And what do you mean he ??might have?? I thought these dogs were being treated like family? And how can I trust now that he actually did take part in any of the activities that I signed him up for?
Overall, I did not see any evidence of my dog being treated like family. I had to tell them his name 4 times before they knew who I was there to pick-up. And this after I??d called an hour ahead of time to let them know I was coming.
The only reason I am writing this negative review about them was because I had such a high expectation from reading the other reviews on Molly??s. I was beyond disappointed when I found my dog in the state that he was in after paying $60 per night!!
I would NOT recommend Molly??s boarding to any friend or family.
Also, while picking up I was given a ??coupon? for 5 dollars off next time if I brought in a print-out of my ??positive feedback on Facebook for Molly??s?.
I just hope that my dog can forgive me for whatever he went through over the weekend!

I have been using Molly's for several years. With my first dog I only used the boarding and grooming services. With my new dog I have used boarding, training, grooming and daycare. I have always been happy except for my recent training class. Not knowing any better I thought my training class was how it was supposed to be. Our trainer was Kathy but in the last week John was our trainer. What a DIFFERENCE between trainers. I already knew Kathy was a complainer from previous interactions before taking the class but the class was so much better and organized with John. The whole class was about us and our dogs which it was not in previous weeks. And when picking up my dog from daycare I have even asked Rosalie some training questions since class ended and she was super helpful. I also started using grooming again for my new pup and she looks beautiful. Erin did an awsome job. From Anne the manager, to the daycare staff, to grooming I am 100% impressed, year after year. \r\nI am so glad I have Molly's !

I recently boarded by dogs at Molly's Country Kennels in Lansdale and I have to tell you I could of not asked for a better experience. Before boarding I went to Molly's for a tour, by mistake I showed up outside of tour hours and they were so nice to show me around anyway. The man, I think his name was John, spent about 25-30 minutes with me answering all my questions and concerns and even went over his training programs which I am signing both of my dogs up for. \r\nMy dogs boarded at Molly's for 11days and they both came home very happy & health. The woman in their office was very plesant and even sent my two pups home with a cookie treat and me, I got a Hershey bar. What a cool idea. The staff gave me a full report on their stay. How their eating was, how they enjoyed their walks and they even had marked down that they went to the bathroom everyday. WOW !!! \r\nThey both even got cool little report cards. I shared this with my friends, they thought it was great. They gave me the idea of putting this review on here. I did read some of the negative reviews, I don`t belive them for a second. I walked in completly unannounced and the staff was wonderful from start to finish. In my whole experience I saw or spoke with 4-5 different staff members and they were all plesent and very nice. \r\nI could not recommend Molly's Country Kennels enough. You have to stop by for a tour and met the great staff. Thank you Molly's, my pups will be back soon.

I have tried 2 other places but this kennel is the best by far. The manager that runs the place is extremely knowledgable about her field and my dog loves her. My dog was able to play with other dogs while he was there and he came home happy and tired. Wonderful place for my dog, Charlie. Oh, I also had him get a full spa treatment and he has never been so clean and shiny.\r\nI love Molly's Counrty Kennels !

this place is nothing but hype. you pay all of these extra fees for your dog's services like walks, play times, etc. ever wonder why your dog's peed orange after it came out of here? it's because they didn't give it enough water. ever want to know why the dog's suddenly doing it's business in your house now? because if you don't pay those extra fees your dog sits in a concrete room with no way out. it's stuck doing it's own business in there & left there. this place is just a posh resort for your ""happy camper"" when you arrive. well guess what, you'll be getting the guilt trip to pay for all those extras. I won't take my dog back again & the owners know this & call you out on it like you're an inconvenience. it's animal cruelty to leave the dog in solitude if you're not able to pay their prices. are you smart consumer? or are you just naive enough to pay for extras like walks, food, bathroom outings? you know, stuff you would normally expect a reputable place to do.

Jake (my puppy) loves going to Molly's for day care...he has the opportunity to run, play and swim all day and he comes home exhausted! He is very excited and will usually jump out of the car when he realizes where he is in the AM. They seem to take good care of Jake and the only complaint is that he will sometimes get cut which is probably normal with that many dogs.

Not only did they omit the information of additional fees, they appear to be inept. Make sure you inquire about all their extra fees because they don't volunteer that info. Then they looked at me like I was crazy for wanting to feed my dog my own food. I can't believe my dog is the only one that gets sick when you change her diet. I think that's fairly common. Finally, they gave her, a 12 pound dog, almost 5 days worth of food in the 30 hours they kenneled her. When asked, they said *I* instructed them to do that. No apology was even given when I complained.\n\nHoping my dog won't spend the night throwing up. If you choose Molly's run, be prepared for dishonesty, apathy and neglect.

This place is the best!!!!!!\r\nThe staff is wonderful. I am so glad the owners still have Anne and John running the place. My first dog went here and loved it. I went some where new with my new dog and it was a horrible mistake. I will never go to another kennel again.

My dog loves this place and I really like most of the staff. I have used the boarding, training and now use daycare. John the training manager is great, he has an incredible connection with the dogs. Anne who runs the entire place is great and she is always there. I see her at 7 am when I drop off and at 5:30 pm when I pick up. There has not been a day that I do not see her. ANd she really cares about my dog and remembers things we talked about days past. She makes me feel that my dog is very important to her and I believe it !\r\nIf they were not there I would probably not continue to use the facility. Not all the staff is at the same level in my eyes.

Molly's Run has been a household name for me and my family for over 20 years. My family dog, growing up was a frequent guest at Molly's Run and now that I have my own dog - I would not think of taking her any place else. The staff is fantastic, the facilities are great and I love that my pup runs into Ann's arms when she sees her. The really do treat your pet like family!!

Molly's Run Country Kennels -- I WOULDN"T PUT MY DOG THERE.

    No, I really wouldn't.

I was looking for a boarding facility for my dogs. Molly's supposedly gives "tours" of their facility at 10 and 4 p.m. So I showed up at 10. Granted, it's a big beautiful property. The young man at the desk called someone to show me around, turned his back, and didn't speak to me again for the five minutes I waited. Then another unfriendly employee arrived. She took me to the kennel area and allowed me to peer through a window down the hallway of cages. No, I could not go through the door. Then we walked out to the outdoor areas, where (according to the brochure) we can pay extra for our pups to have exciting fun times with dog-loving employees. I was again allowed to stand outside a fence and squint at the swimming pool and doggie playground, where a couple of sullen-looking workers were each walking a dog. I was told that "over there" was a creek and trail for doggie hiking. I asked to go inside the fence to get a better look at all these wonders. I was told no.

That was it. She asked if I had any questions. I said yes. Why wasn't I allowed to walk around the whole facility? She said, "It's a safety thing"; that a visitor might not know how to react near strange dogs. I said I own three dogs and that the two dogs within sight were on leashes and I thought I could probably handle it. She said "We don't let people in."

Soooo that's the end of that. I'll find someplace with fewer bells and whistles but with friendly, helpful humans running it.

We had a great experience at Molly's Country Kennel in Lansdale. A convenient location just off Valley Forge Road. A really nice country setting.\n\nWe took Austin in for grooming and the greeting staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The groomer did a fantastic job and we were really pleased with the way Austin looked when we picked him up.\n\nWe will surely return for our next grooming !

I have a 5 year old boxer named Denim that I have been taking to Molly?s Country Kennel for doggie daycare since he was 6 months. The experience and professionalism of the staff; maintenance of the facility; and quality of the service is second to none. Before Molly?s, Denim had excessive energy because he would sleep all day at home while I was away at work. Now that I take him to Molly?s regularly Denim?s excessive energy has diminished; and he has developed both physically and socially. My favorite is being able to log onto Molly?s website and watch Denim play via the web based doggie cam (How cool is that!).Other features I love about this facility are the themed parties, contest and gifts- showing that the staff does interact with the dogs. \r\n\r\nIn addition to the day care services, I have also used Molly?s for grooming and boarding and have never once been disappointed. Molly?s Country Kennel proves that ?We Treat Your Pet Like Family? is not just a motto it is truly how they run their business. Denim loves it here and I would recommend Molly?s to anyone.\r\n

    Cons: No Weekend Daycare Hours

My dog is always so excited to go to Molly's . He tries to jump out of the car when he sees where we are! This is a dog who generally doesn't like other dogs, so whatever they are doing works! My dog Danny is a large Golden Doodle that has been going to Molly's since he was eight months old and he is now 4 years old. Danny loves Mollys and can't wait for the staff he has grown to love come to get him for play school. They treat my dog with affection and caring that is unsurpassed. Danny has also gone for training at Molly's after some mimimal sucess at another training facility. John Bickel has a wonderful way of training and Danny learned his lessons well. Danny also gets all his grooming needs met at Molly's as I have him groomed every six weeks. They do a fabulous job and I never have to worry. I would never take my dog anywhere else because if you look around there is no comparison to the care and attention you get at Molly's.

It is true. Molly's does treat your pet like family. My dog Buddy has been going to Molly's weekly for about 1 year now. He goes to dayschool twice a week and has been boarded there for our family vacations. Buddy loves Molly's. On the days he goes, he is so excited. He can not wait to go for the car ride where he can play all day with his other dog pals. At the end of the day, he comes home and usually is so tired he sleeps for the rest of the evening. The staff is the best. They really do love your pet. I never feel guilty about leaving him there. And that means a lot for a first time pet owner. Thanks YOU to all of the staff at Molly's.

Pros: Great place for your pet

When we ask our boxer Cricket, ""do you want to go to Molly's?"" she jumps for joy because she knows a full day of fun lies waiting for her. She goes to day school every few weeks and she stays overnight at Molly's while we're away. We know the staff at Molly's will treat her like family and that says a lot because family is where you feel comfortable, loved and content. Cricket always comes home from Molly's with a smile, a treat in hand and a good night's sleep to follow. Many thanks to everyone at Molly's for years of care and love for our most beloved family member, Cricket.

I just picked my dog up from their Country Day School and he is sound asleep because he is content after spending the day at Molly's. He loves it there. And if you don't believe me, when you bring him there you can watch the dogs play on their webcams.\r\nWe've been bringing our dog there for about 4 years. The staff is great and they really do treat your pets like family!

I take my dog to Molly's 3-5 days per week to play with other dogs. I really did my homework on play groups. This was the only facility that did a 3 day evaluation. An evaluation that involved my dog being introduced to the other dogs. Other places told me they could tell how my dog will be by just meeting her. Yea right. \r\nThe other day I could not get there to pick up my dog before closing so I left her over night. I thought or wanted her to miss me when I went to get her the next day but, NO when I went to take her home she tried to pull me back into the office. Yea, I was a little upset she did not miss me but I am VERY happy she wants to be there. \r\nFantastic place!! Fantastic Staff!!!!!\r\nI would recommend this place to all my friends and family.

I have read some of the negative reviews of Molly's. I do not doubt the veracity or the sincere manner in which those have posted their experiences. \r\n\r\nFor whatever reasons they found their experience negative, I am here to tell you that we have had nothing but positive experiences, the most recent being nine days.\r\n\r\nOur dog is always in great shape and upbeat when we pick him up. Sometimes he looks even better than when we dropped him off.\r\n\r\nFor us, Molly's is a godsend in that we can leave him there knowing he is receiving great care and attention. Just knowing that gives us comfort when we have to travel without him.\r\n\r\nOur dog is truly a member of our family and we will only place him in the hands of people we trust and we trust Molly's.

I have signed up for CitySearch just so I could write this review. It seems like many people have had the same experience I have had. Molly's should be reported to the Humane Society. I have taken my two dogs there at times over the years. A number of years ago it seemed OK. In the past couple of years ( I have only used this kennel a few times) I was concerned because when I would pick up my two greyhounds, they would both barely make it out the door of the kennel, then drop and urinate for minutes on end. In addition, their urine was almost orange, which indicates they had not had enough water. My female hound, who is a water drinker, not only urinated orange, but was crazed for water when we arrived home, and drank and drank. She was so very unhappy that she never wagged her tail or brightened up for a couple of days. I was furious because it's obvious what they are doing - I was told by someone who knew a kennel worker that they 'withhold' water from the dogs who drink and urinate alot. I was also told that often the 'walks' and playtime that customers pay for are not given. A number of people I know feel that their dogs were drugged. And to top it off, the people behind the counter, especially the woman who is the intake person, is the RUDEST individual I have ever encountered. This establishment is a disgrace and should be SHUT DOWN. If you love pets, please pass the word to other pet owners to not patronize Molly's.

The one and only time I used Molly's, they did not explain to me that Max would not be let out of his cell unless I paid them an additional fee to do so. In other words, they expected him to relieve himself in his 4x15x3 concrete space for $30.00 a day. They did not accept his special food for him to eat while there and they would not accept the T shirt I brought for him to sleep with. As others have written, if you are 1 minute late, you will not get a tour, you will pay for an additional day, you cannot pick your dog up. They do not care about your dog.

I used this for my dog, and she just loves it there. She always comes home happy, and ready to play. I have used other kennels and she had come back not wanting to really do much, so I know they treat her well!
