My dog loves this place and so do I. I travel alot for work and have lived in three states Molly's is by far the best facility I have used. I have already reccomded a close co-worker to them and she also loves the place.

This review is about their boarding "service" only.
From my rating you can tell that I was/am not happy from the ??service?. I am especially not happy about the state that I found my dog in at pick-up.

1 - Customer Service: When I took my dog to check-in for his 2 day stay, I was made to wait 15 minutes before anybody would talk to me. Evidently their phone calls are more important than the person who is standing there who already has a reservation made. Also, I got there 30 minutes early when picking him up expecting that I??d wait. There were quite a few people in the office. They didn??t open the door until 2 minutes past the time they advertise. I??d expect that from government agencies and the post office, but a private business? I dont think they would have lost much if I picked up my dog 10 minutes early?
2 - Pricing: They have a nightly fee, which ONLY includes the cage/pen that the dog is in. Even if you bring your own food they charge you $2.50 per feeding. Yes, you pay for your dog to eat your food. They have walks for 5-10-15 min durations, so your dog could be stuck in his pen for 23hrs 45 minutes if you ??only? paid $10 extra per day. Their 1 to 2 hour activities start from $20 and up (on top of the nightly rate). The biggest concern to me was that they charge FULL boarding rate for the day that you are checking OUT your dog even if you get him at 11am. Most places will only charge for activity rates (i.e. daycare). How would you like it if your hotel charged you for the night of the day you check out?
3 - Activities: Upon check-out, I could not get a single word of feedback about how my dog did. They could not report anything to me. All I heard was ??well we don??t have any notes about him up here so that??s a good sign?. Well, did he go on the trails? Did he interact with other dogs? Was he able to sleep? Did he have accidents? Was he scared in the kennel environment?
4 - When I picked him up, he was VERY scared, his fur was sticky all over the bottom part of his body and he smelled like urine among some other strong/unfamiliar odors. I asked if he had an accident, and they only said they didnt see any evidence of that. So where did the stickiness come from? ??He might have gone in the pool? but when I asked them on check-in they said that the pool activities weren??t available because the pool was closed. And what do you mean he ??might have?? I thought these dogs were being treated like family? And how can I trust now that he actually did take part in any of the activities that I signed him up for?
Overall, I did not see any evidence of my dog being treated like family. I had to tell them his name 4 times before they knew who I was there to pick-up. And this after I??d called an hour ahead of time to let them know I was coming.
The only reason I am writing this negative review about them was because I had such a high expectation from reading the other reviews on Molly??s. I was beyond disappointed when I found my dog in the state that he was in after paying $60 per night!!
I would NOT recommend Molly??s boarding to any friend or family.
Also, while picking up I was given a ??coupon? for 5 dollars off next time if I brought in a print-out of my ??positive feedback on Facebook for Molly??s?.
I just hope that my dog can forgive me for whatever he went through over the weekend!

Not only did they omit the information of additional fees, they appear to be inept. Make sure you inquire about all their extra fees because they don't volunteer that info. Then they looked at me like I was crazy for wanting to feed my dog my own food. I can't believe my dog is the only one that gets sick when you change her diet. I think that's fairly common. Finally, they gave her, a 12 pound dog, almost 5 days worth of food in the 30 hours they kenneled her. When asked, they said *I* instructed them to do that. No apology was even given when I complained.

Hoping my dog won't spend the night throwing up. If you choose Molly's run, be prepared for dishonesty, apathy and neglect.

My dog loves this place. I completely trust Anne and John with my dog's care. If I tell my dog he is going to see Anne and John he gets all excited and runs to the car.
I am so glad I have a place like this in my life for my dog.

Molly's Run Country Kennels -- I WOULDN"T PUT MY DOG THERE.

No, I really wouldn't.

I was looking for a boarding facility for my dogs. Molly's supposedly gives "tours" of their facility at 10 and 4 p.m. So I showed up at 10. Granted, it's a big beautiful property. The young man at the desk called someone to show me around, turned his back, and didn't speak to me again for the five minutes I waited. Then another unfriendly employee arrived. She took me to the kennel area and allowed me to peer through a window down the hallway of cages. No, I could not go through the door. Then we walked out to the outdoor areas, where (according to the brochure) we can pay extra for our pups to have exciting fun times with dog-loving employees. I was again allowed to stand outside a fence and squint at the swimming pool and doggie playground, where a couple of sullen-looking workers were each walking a dog. I was told that "over there" was a creek and trail for doggie hiking. I asked to go inside the fence to get a better look at all these wonders. I was told no.

That was it. She asked if I had any questions. I said yes. Why wasn't I allowed to walk around the whole facility? She said, "It's a safety thing"; that a visitor might not know how to react near strange dogs. I said I own three dogs and that the two dogs within sight were on leashes and I thought I could probably handle it. She said "We don't let people in."

Soooo that's the end of that. I'll find someplace with fewer bells and whistles but with friendly, helpful humans running it.

The one and only time I used Molly's, they did not explain to me that Max would not be let out of his cell unless I paid them an additional fee to do so. In other words, they expected him to relieve himself in his 4x15x3 concrete space for $30.00 a day. They did not accept his special food for him to eat while there and they would not accept the T shirt I brought for him to sleep with. As others have written, if you are 1 minute late, you will not get a tour, you will pay for an additional day, you cannot pick your dog up. They do not care about your dog.

I used this for my dog, and she just loves it there. She always comes home happy, and ready to play. I have used other kennels and she had come back not wanting to really do much, so I know they treat her well!

The staff at this facility made me feel very good about leaving my dog while I was on vacation. I think my dog had a better vacation at Molly's than I did on my vacation. She came home happy and healthy. Very good facility.

This place is the best!!!!!!
The staff is wonderful. I am so glad the owners still have Anne and John running the place. My first dog went here and loved it. I went some where new with my new dog and it was a horrible mistake. I will never go to another kennel again.

My dog loves this place and I really like most of the staff. I have used the boarding, training and now use daycare. John the training manager is great, he has an incredible connection with the dogs. Anne who runs the entire place is great and she is always there. I see her at 7 am when I drop off and at 5:30 pm when I pick up. There has not been a day that I do not see her. ANd she really cares about my dog and remembers things we talked about days past. She makes me feel that my dog is very important to her and I believe it !
If they were not there I would probably not continue to use the facility. Not all the staff is at the same level in my eyes.

Molly's Run has been a household name for me and my family for over 20 years. My family dog, growing up was a frequent guest at Molly's Run and now that I have my own dog - I would not think of taking her any place else. The staff is fantastic, the facilities are great and I love that my pup runs into Ann's arms when she sees her. The really do treat your pet like family!!

We had a great experience at Molly's Country Kennel in Lansdale. A convenient location just off Valley Forge Road. A really nice country setting.

We took Austin in for grooming and the greeting staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The groomer did a fantastic job and we were really pleased with the way Austin looked when we picked him up.

We will surely return for our next grooming !

I have a 5 year old boxer named Denim that I have been taking to Molly??s Country Kennel for doggie daycare since he was 6 months. The experience and professionalism of the staff; maintenance of the facility; and quality of the service is second to none. Before Molly??s, Denim had excessive energy because he would sleep all day at home while I was away at work. Now that I take him to Molly??s regularly Denim??s excessive energy has diminished; and he has developed both physically and socially. My favorite is being able to log onto Molly??s website and watch Denim play via the web based doggie cam (How cool is that!).Other features I love about this facility are the themed parties, contest and gifts- showing that the staff does interact with the dogs.

In addition to the day care services, I have also used Molly??s for grooming and boarding and have never once been disappointed. Molly??s Country Kennel proves that ??We Treat Your Pet Like Family? is not just a motto it is truly how they run their business. Denim loves it here and I would recommend Molly??s to anyone.

I love my dog and I was so happy when I found someplace to board her where I don't have to worry about a thing! The staff is great, friendly, and takes really good care of my beloved pooch. The services that they offer are fantastic (and not that expensive!) and the peace of mind leaving my dog at Molly's affords me really lets me enjoy my vacation.

Our bloodhound loves Molly's she attends the day school three times a week and we've boarded her for trips. John and Anne and the rest of the staff are so friendly and well versed on dog-training and behaviors. Our dog come home so tired from a day full of activities with all her other dog friends. They go swimming in the pool, they run and jump and wrestle. We recommend Molly's to every dog owner we meet.

My dog Danny is a large Golden Doodle that has been going to Molly's since he was eight months old and he is now 4 years old. Danny loves Mollys and can't wait for the staff he has grown to love come to get him for play school. They treat my dog with affection and caring that is unsurpassed. Danny has also gone for training at Molly's after some mimimal sucess at another training facility. John Bickel has a wonderful way of training and Danny learned his lessons well. Danny also gets all his grooming needs met at Molly's as I have him groomed every six weeks. They do a fabulous job and I never have to worry. I would never take my dog anywhere else because if you look around there is no comparison to the care and attention you get at Molly's.

It is true. Molly's does treat your pet like family. My dog Buddy has been going to Molly's weekly for about 1 year now. He goes to dayschool twice a week and has been boarded there for our family vacations. Buddy loves Molly's. On the days he goes, he is so excited. He can not wait to go for the car ride where he can play all day with his other dog pals. At the end of the day, he comes home and usually is so tired he sleeps for the rest of the evening. The staff is the best. They really do love your pet. I never feel guilty about leaving him there. And that means a lot for a first time pet owner. Thanks YOU to all of the staff at Molly's.

When we ask our boxer Cricket, "do you want to go to Molly's?" she jumps for joy because she knows a full day of fun lies waiting for her. She goes to day school every few weeks and she stays overnight at Molly's while we're away. We know the staff at Molly's will treat her like family and that says a lot because family is where you feel comfortable, loved and content. Cricket always comes home from Molly's with a smile, a treat in hand and a good night's sleep to follow. Many thanks to everyone at Molly's for years of care and love for our most beloved family member, Cricket.

I just picked my dog up from their Country Day School and he is sound asleep because he is content after spending the day at Molly's. He loves it there. And if you don't believe me, when you bring him there you can watch the dogs play on their webcams.
We've been bringing our dog there for about 4 years. The staff is great and they really do treat your pets like family!

I use Molly's for boarding my dog while on vacation. This is my first dog but growing up all of our family dogs also went to Molly's.
I was nervous leaving my baby but when I picked her up and saw happy she was with the staff I felt so much better. I will never take her any where else.
The staff really knows what thay are doing and my dogs loves it there.

I take my dog to Molly's 3-5 days per week to play with other dogs. I really did my homework on play groups. This was the only facility that did a 3 day evaluation. An evaluation that involved my dog being introduced to the other dogs. Other places told me they could tell how my dog will be by just meeting her. Yea right.
The other day I could not get there to pick up my dog before closing so I left her over night. I thought or wanted her to miss me when I went to get her the next day but, NO when I went to take her home she tried to pull me back into the office. Yea, I was a little upset she did not miss me but I am VERY happy she wants to be there.
Fantastic place!! Fantastic Staff!!!!!
I would recommend this place to all my friends and family.

I have read some of the negative reviews of Molly's. I do not doubt the veracity or the sincere manner in which those have posted their experiences.

For whatever reasons they found their experience negative, I am here to tell you that we have had nothing but positive experiences, the most recent being nine days.

Our dog is always in great shape and upbeat when we pick him up. Sometimes he looks even better than when we dropped him off.

For us, Molly's is a godsend in that we can leave him there knowing he is receiving great care and attention. Just knowing that gives us comfort when we have to travel without him.

Our dog is truly a member of our family and we will only place him in the hands of people we trust and we trust Molly's.

I have signed up for CitySearch just so I could write this review. It seems like many people have had the same experience I have had. Molly's should be reported to the Humane Society. I have taken my two dogs there at times over the years. A number of years ago it seemed OK. In the past couple of years ( I have only used this kennel a few times) I was concerned because when I would pick up my two greyhounds, they would both barely make it out the door of the kennel, then drop and urinate for minutes on end. In addition, their urine was almost orange, which indicates they had not had enough water. My female hound, who is a water drinker, not only urinated orange, but was crazed for water when we arrived home, and drank and drank. She was so very unhappy that she never wagged her tail or brightened up for a couple of days. I was furious because it's obvious what they are doing - I was told by someone who knew a kennel worker that they 'withhold' water from the dogs who drink and urinate alot. I was also told that often the 'walks' and playtime that customers pay for are not given. A number of people I know feel that their dogs were drugged. And to top it off, the people behind the counter, especially the woman who is the intake person, is the RUDEST individual I have ever encountered. This establishment is a disgrace and should be SHUT DOWN. If you love pets, please pass the word to other pet owners to not patronize Molly's.

Pros: WORTS KENNELS IN TOWN

Cons: ITS NOT VERY GOOD KENNELS

I love this kennel and would not leave my dog any where else. The staff is wonderful and the most educated group of people I have ever met when it comes to dogs. My dog loves to come to Molly's and loves that staff and that says it all for me.

Cons: Distance from my home

I had my dog at Molly's for 6 days (although I picked up my dog at 8:30am on the last day, they still charged me for the day. Be aware, they charge you one more day if your dog stays there for 1 min of a day). I wasn't really happy with Molly's. First, they don't show you around the facility if you miss the tour time. I didn't know what kind of place my dog was sleeping in, so I had many many questions, and the woman at the counter certainly did not like answering my questions. When I asked if I could see a picture of the place, she said "it's on our website" which was not even remotely true. I knew that there was no indoor picture on the website so I said "No, there's no picture. There is only a very small (almost unrecognizable) picture of the best room (the beach house suite)". It was only after I mentioned that none of the other boarding houses I visited refused to show me around, that she finally ordered someone else to play a videoclip, which also didn't have any image of the indoor rooms! Anyway, the woman assured me that the place is going to be roomy. It was only after I made the full payment she said (as if she was doing me a favor) I could peek through a window. I almost cried at that moment. It was a very large room full of dogs, from small to large. So many of them barking. I saw Wagsworth and Philadelphia Animal Resort before, and they had rooms separated by walls so dogs won't hear too much barking. Nothing like that here. Plus, the place was just gray cement floors & walls with steel cage nets dividing the spaces. The aisles between cages were so narrow, I wondered if a person could move through the aisles. It was evident that Molly's was making the most out of the one big room.
When I got my dog back, she was nervous and anxious. She pooped several times, all greenish and watery showing that she was under a lot of stress. She is the most smiley dog, but I had to pet her and try to relax her for hrs before she began to show relaxed face again.

The first time I used this kennel I was worried because there was too much to choose from, but after my dogs first stay I really knew I was in the right place. I had picked some playtimes but was not sure if they were right for my dog. The front desk staff said the playtime manager would change the activities if needed and at first I thought, yea spend more of my money, but I was wrong. During my dogs stay they did change my dogs playtimes activities but it was definetly in my dogs best interest and they did not spend more of my money. The girl at the desk said Kathy wanted to change my dogs activities and once she did my dogs was much happier and I beleive it becasue my dog came home happy and well. As I was told by friends who referred me, the staff at Molly's really knows dogs. I am grateful to have found a facility with such talented staff.

I love this place! First time in along time I felt good leaving my dogs. I travel alot and have used many kennels by far this kennel has VERY knowledgable staff. Both of my dogs were happy to stay and looked physically and mentally great when they came home. I would recommend this facility to anyone. It is a little pricy but worth it. My dogs love this place and people and that is all that matters to me.

I have been sending my Dog to Mollys for over two years now. She goes there for boarding and for dayschool. Anne & John, the managers are nothing short of amazing. We have a very active dog and they find all sorts of creative ways to entertain her! I left my dog there for 18 days, to travel overseas, and obviously had minimal contact with them. They were concerned about my dogs weight, went ahead and called our vet, and arranged for her to be given extra food and weighed in everyday. When we picked her up we were given a detailed list of the extra food she was given and her weigh ins through the time we were gone. They go the extra mile for your pet and treat each one as if they were their own. The grooming services are wonderful, and they have a true concern for each pet that is there. The day care services allow the dogs to run and run, have a bbq , and even learn how to swim! Mollys is the equiveleant of a four seasons or ritz carlton for your pet. They will accomodate your every need, and make sure everyone is happy with their stay. I feel so lucky that we found Mollys....and trust me when I say our dog loves it there!

What a great place. I went there to work with a HIGHLY recommended dog trainer,John. I have a very difficult dog and he has to be the best trainer on the east coast. He made me love my dog all over again. Then to find out the same facility also does boarding and grooming made my life even easier.
Great Place.

When I first called them, I thought their phone greeting was hokey - "we treat your pets like family". But after leaving my dogs there, they treated them better than family! My golden retriever went swimming! My little dog cuddled with somebody in a rocking chair! And they both came out looking better than they ever have and clearly happy and excited. This is the best place I ever took a pet. Anne K.

My dog stayed at Molly's Run a few yrs ago and I will never forget how he looked and smelled like after I picked him up. He was nervous, shedding terribly and smelled horribly. I had even paid for him to be groomed on his last day. Plus, he had lost 5 pounds and slept for days after. This was also the time when he started with terrible separation anxiety which was and still is an ordeal for my family. After finding a smaller, better kennel I have validation for my feeling on Molly's Run. You can pay for 5 walks a day but if you don't get individual attention, a clean area to sleep and some quite time I don't know how any dog or animal could be happy staying at a kennel.

I have used this kennel for 11 years. Never had an issue until now. My dog has arthritis and that was noted in previous years. She was usually given an arthritis bed. I dropped her off, noting her hips and sore front leg. She walked in on a leash.
When I picked her up I was told that she probably should not return, that she'd get more appropriate care at a vet. They told me she couldn't support her weight or get around in her run. They had placed extra padding in the run and used a sling to take her out. When I saw her I was horrified. She looked like she was going to collapse. I spoke to the owner and he assured me she hadn't been injured there. Within hrs of getting her home she improved and 3 days later she is walking almost as well as when I dropped her off. My belief is that she lost her footing early in her stay and they just resorted to using the sling for the rest of the week. My dog with arthritis did not use her legs for a week. No wonder she couldnt stand. They never attempted to call me or any emergency number to let me know what was going on. They just assumed I dropped off a dog that couldn't walk I guess. They did make sure to charge me for the 3 walks a day ( I guess they were more like 3 drags a day) and swimming though. My opinion is that Mollys Run can't handle the volume of animals they accept during the busy vacation season and their new manager is making bad calls about how pets are cared for. I got a letter in the mail today saying not to bring her back. I called to tell them how much better she was doing and that I had no intention of returning. I was told that she might be doing better because being at home makes the animals happy and boosts their immune system. My dog loved going there. I suggested they may not want to treat the next dog with arthritis they encounter the same way. If you have a perfectly healthy animal they might be fine there. The lack of judgement they used with my dog makes me uneasy for all.

This is the second time I have taken my dog there in a 2 month period
My bill was for $145- I brought my dog in on Thursday at 5pm and picked him up at 5pm Sat. When I dropped my dog off I asked what the pick hours are on Sunday and was told "you can only pick up your dog between 4-6pm" so I said - "if I make it back earlier on Saturday can I pick him up then". They said no problem. So I get there on today in time to pick up my dog and am informed that I will be charged another day as a penalty for not calling 48 hours in advance for early pick -up. I expected to pay for Thurs, Fri & Sat. I asked the women who was there (she was also there when I checked in) why I wasn't informed about the early pick up rule. I have no issue with any rule as long as I know about it. Her response was "it's on our website".
Last time was about a month ago the same overwieght, middleaged, blonde women checked us in and she was probably the most unfriendly person I have interacted with who works in animal care. Her behavior and tone borders on condisending. All I could think the first time I left my dog there was "I hope they treat the animals better than they treat the people who pay for the animals to be there". She gave me a hard time because I wanted my dog to have his regular food and not the kennel brand. She informed me "it's more work for us, so you will be charged and extra fee if you want to bring in your own food." Also no one told me each day's meal for my dog needed to be individually bagged. It's hard for me to understand why that more work for them when I am the one buying, bagging and bringing in the food?? It wasn't even the rule that bothered me - it was the tone in her voice that was unacceptable. I felt like I was being spoken to by my 3rd grade teacher..
Molly's County Kennel is beautiful and clean but the 2 times I have used them left me felling very unsatisfied and not confident they are happy to have my pup as a visitor.

We just went and picked our dog up after the memorial wknd, and am glad that he came back HAPPY (thatz all I wanted) :). We have left him at other places, but when he usually comes back home groggy (mebbe they medicate the pets so that they dont keep barking, my puppy newayz isnt a big barker), so that way we are really happy, that his stay was good, he looked healthy and happy.

Pros:

1. Place is big, beauiful and they have other services as well

2. My baby was happy looking and energetic

3. They have pretty big space, that even when I called last minute they gladly accommodated our baby

Cons

1. People there could be a lil more friendly to the customers - they are pretty str8 faced - all of'em

2. They charge you so much for each and everything, usually at other places they didnt charge us if we wanted our dog to be fed with the food we take from home, but here they charged us $ 2.50 / time they fed him. There was a unexpected $ 5 in our bill which read "PET FIRST", we didnt ask for it

3. My dog was all wet when we picked him up, wonder why?!!!!!!!!! (mebbe they cleaned the room, and was let to sleep on the wet floor)

I would consider this place again, given that my dog came back home HAPPY :)

Watch out for Molly's Run Country Kennel. Their motto may be "We treat your dog like family" but this isn't the case for the owner. Be ready to be charged for services you did not receive and to be treated with a bad attitude.

We tried this kennel for a three day stay. We ended up at home the second day and decided to take our dog out then, with the understanding that we could bring him back to stay for the third day. We paid for all three days on the second day. On the third day the owner refused to give us our dog back until we were charged a second time, even after being shown the the paid receipt. To add insult to injury we also received our $30 retractable leash back chewed in half, with no word as to how it happened and no offer to replace it; an obvious sign that their handlers are not paying attention to the animals, and that their owners refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes.

Don't be fooled by their endearing motto, stay away from Molly's unless you want horrid customer service and dubious care for your animal.

Pros: Nice looking grounds, lots of options, some of the staff are very nice

Cons: Owner is rude, cares little for customers, handlers are neglectful, don't expect to get your animal back unless you pay what they demand, regardless of what was agreed on previously

Review ItWe found a few glitches.
Name it:
(Examples: Best pizza anywhere, Avoid on Friday nights, Great customer service)
Your Review:
Be conversational: Write it as if relaying your experience to a good friend.
Be specific: Generalities like "lazy service" or "tasty pizza" leave people wanting more detail.
Be yourself: If you're an expert on burgers, let us know. If this is your first-time massage, say so.
Compare apples to apples: Burger joints shouldn't be held to the same standards as four-star restaurants.

We left our dog with Molly's two years ago and never again!!! When we picked her up she did not even wag her tail she looked VERY sleepy and not happy at all. We took her homewe got very concerned about her health because she was not eating and throwing up. You have to understand our dog eat everything so if she was not eatting we knew this was a sick dog. I called Mollys Run back right away and the owner finely called me (not very friendly)stating from their records the dog was ok but did not eat much the day before we picked her up. He told me to check in with the vet and send him the bill only if it was kennel related.. we take our dogs to Harleysville Vet Hospital and they told us the dog had a viral infection which was picked up from the kennel. I got all that paperwork and sent it to Mollys Run.It was first rejected and I was told they would not cover the cost but by contacting the owner he owner finally paid the vet cost in full but was not a happy camper about it!! No concern what so ever. We nomally deal with another kennel but friends of ours recommended Molly Run to us to try. Even when we dropped off our dog they were not very friendly. I also like my dog to be able to go ourside and their kennels are only inside kennels.. I really am not impress with this kennel and would never leave my dog there again that is for sure. They are high in price also. Would expect better care for their pricing.. I would stick with my old kennel thanks!!!

My Maine Coon cats stay at Molly's, and they go there for grooming too, and these folks are the best! The people there really love animals, and my cats enjoy looking out the window at birds when they stay and enjoy the cuddle time too. I have gone to Molly's for years, even with my previous cat, and would not trust Corky and Smokey to anybody else.

Pros: Staff very knowledgeable and loves pets

Cons: There are no cons

My 2 dogs are frequent visitors to Molly's. They board there, get groomed there and attend dayschool at the kennel. They can't wait to get through the door when we arrive. The staff has always been helpful and I find them to be both conscientious and knowledgeable. I wouldn't take them anywhere else.

We were so happy with the excellent services and care our puppy received at Molly's Pet Resort in August this year. I would highly recommend this kennel for anyone looking for the very best pet care for their pets.

Molly's Country Kennel advertises how well they treat your pet...if the way they treat their customers is any indication of the way your pet gets treated, I fear for the safety of my dog. They false advertise their hours locking the door before advertised pick-up times are over. When handing my dog over for the weekend, I was greeted by the most unpleasant staff who seemed annoyed and burdened by my questions and concerns regarding my pet's stay. After speaking with the "owner," he portrayed an ignorant rude man, who made it very clear that the money is more important than the care of my pet. This "owner" made it very obvious that customer service is unimportant. Their advertisement states, "we treat your pet like family," judging by the way we, as humans, were treated today, I am sick to my stomach thinking about who and what I just left my "dog" with. Leaving my pet behind Molly's closed doors, I will never know. I highly recommend choosing a kennel that has respect for their customers, which is then an indication that your pet is getting treated equally important too. What a shame and scary situation my finace and I experienced today. I guess, business, is business, is business.

My 7 yr old Siberian Husky was severely neglected at Mollys. I paid much money (daily boarding rate plus add'l services) for my dog to be in a safe environment while I was on vacation. My vet contact info was on file as well as a cell phone for emergencies. When I picked up my dog (luckily I picked her up 2 days prior than originally planned b/c of vacation changes), my dog could not walk, was very lethargic and looked extremely sickly. Mollys said she was just tired. Within 1.5 hours of picking her up, I took her to my vet, and within another 1.5 hours, she was admitted to the Vetrenarian Hosp of Penna. She was almost DEAD. She needed emergency care and emergency bloood transfusion. Her illness was not caused by Mollys but they left her in a sickly state for 3 days (as verified by owner Bob Payne) with no call out for assistance from my vet or any vet for that fact. Both vets that saw her the same day I picked her up from Mollys said that if I had picked her up 2 days later as planned, she would have been dead from not getting the attention and medical care her condition demanded. Mollys slogan says that 'They treat your pet like family' - well no pet or family member should ever be neglected like my dog was. My dog lost her battle with her disease and we miss her very much. Mollys should be ashamed of how they neglected my dog. I share this info so that you are informed and make the best care decisions for your loved pet when kenneling is needed. Just remember - she was neglected for 3 days with no medical care......no animal deserves that kind of poor treatment.
