Casa Del Dolce

I agree with all of the reviews - everything is home made - this is a three generation operation - if you want the best Italian cookies, cannolli's pastries and soups - homemade meatballs, seven fishes at holiday time (already made) just stop in and try the Best !Casa Del Dolce is also in Ocean City New Jersey on the 900 block of Asbury Avenue (run by Tony - the son of the Philly store on Castor Avenue) He carries the same great items and has a terrific restaurant featuring breakfast, lunch and dinner and take home after a great day on the beach. Coffee is the best on the island, lattes etc.

Casa del dolce is one of the real authentic Italian bakeries around. Actually one of the few located in Northeast Philadelphia. I found them on a search for cannolis, which are great! They are family owned and you can tell by the quality of all the items they offer. I would definitely recommend a stop by.

If I could make canolis like this I would be in heaven. The help makes them from scratch as opposed to buying the shell and filling it. The other bakery items are also very good. She has homemade bakery pasty.
ry The only problem with this bakery is that the selection is very lmited. For example, they do not have cinammon buns. I still would highly recommend.

If you want a good tasting treat try out this bakery. They have the best cannolis around. All of teh other pastries are excellent also. They make just about every pastry you can imagine and it is all at a decent price. They also sell homemade raviolis and sauces that are phenominal. They have another location in Ocean City, New Jersey.
