I have been eating here since I was a little, I'm 58 and my mother ate there as a young girl. I never miss an opportunity to enjoy these, I live over 4 hours away, and definitely a high point during my travels home. Never have found the quality or value to compare to, and I travel all over the country.

The diner is the best description of this restaurant. The hamburgers are the best made with real beef. The service is fast and quick plus reasonable prices make it a favorite. Unfortunately the hours are not to my liking.

When in Punxy a stop to the Corner Lunch is a must. No fries or onion rings but great dogs and burgers. Try a hot dog with everything, mustard, onion, sauce and a slice of dill pickle. The burgers are unique, they use fresh meat and it is fried loosely on the grill, not at all in a patty form and served on a hot dog bun. It's different and very tasty. The prices are great, and the local atmosphere adds to the experience. Speaking of atmosphere I enjoyed the old location which has long been torn down to make way for the IUP Culinary school. Nick had worked there years ago and I am glad he is maintaining a local tradition.
