Stayed here after we went to a wedding last year. For being in Penn's landing I thought it would be nicer and cleaner. The pictures that were showed are not what we got. we had to have are room switched because of the smell in the room. Won't go again

This is very nice hotel as you would expect if you stay at Hyatt Regency hotels. It is located on the river, so some of the rooms have a nice view. It is located close enough many great restaurants and historic attractions.

Hyatt Regency At Penns Landing ~ Great Location

On a trip up to Philly to meet friends for dinner we decided on the Penns Landing Hyatt. We went during the winter so didn't get to avail ourselves of the ferry across to the cool tourist trap in NJ, but we had an awesome view of it and will be back to take that adventure during warmer months for sure.
This Hyatt is also near a few great restaurants right there on the small dock so you won't go hungry any time of year.
The staff here was friendly and efficent, if not overly quick with the upgrades. Ok, we're slightly spoiled, no points off for that. The place was packed for some convention anyway.
The room, while not a suite, was definitely sufficient for the low internet rate we scored. We had all the usual ammenities and the requisite in-room coffee maker. The room was also one of the cleanest I'd ever seen.
I'll go with 4 stars here and recommend this one if you are planning a vacation to Philly. There certainly is a lot to do right near the hotel, and it's friendly. You could do a lot worse, for sure.
PROS: Nice rooms, lots to do in the warmer months
CONS: Area is a bit stark in the cold months
