If you are seeking a place to have a leisurely dinner and conversation with friends, KC??s Alley in Ambler is certainly not the place. My personal experience recently left me and my friends feeling disrespected as we were asked to leave the restaurant because in the eyes of the ownership, we had stayed too long. Apparently, 90 minutes is too long --- even though we had purchased a dinner and were enjoying after-dinner conversation. There were no lines of patrons waiting for tables and now I know why. This was in the early evening hours , but, apparently there is a time-clock by which all paying customers need to be aware. With all of the other quality dining establishments in Ambler, KC??s Alley is clearly one to be avoided!!!

I live in Ambler and I have never eaten here. A friend told me that kids eat free on Sundays. I called and confirmed it with Kc's. They told me as long as there is an Adult meal purchased. Ok, so we went. There were 2 adults and my 13y rold who was purchasing and adult meal. There were 4 kids not including the 13 yr old. Well we were told that you only get 2 free kids meals. Ok so we order.
Appetizers were nachos and wings. Omg they were horrible. My 13 yr old orders ribs for $11. The waiter said they were good and a nice size. Not, there were only 3 along side a few fries. There was no meat whatsoever on them. My kids ordered chicken tenders, they also were burnt and dry, I ordered a classic burger, bacon burnt as well. My husband ordered a burger and it totally fell apart. I wanted to complain but my husband just wanted to leave and not make a scene.
I would not by all means recommend this for dinning out. Maybe for a few beers but nothing else.

Great little local bar and restaurant. The fries are delicious and the service is usually exceptional. Works great as a little escape from work. Often runs specials. The deals offered on Tuesdays ($5 menu) make eating here satisfying and inexpensive.

We have dined here several times over the years. I am really sensitive to smoke so I like that all of the dining area is removed from the bar area. It's not your typical bar anyhow Clean and nice inside. Kids eat free on Sunday and we have brought the kids several times. The food is good and prices are reasonable.

Really great local "joint" without being slimy!

They often have specials and live music on weekends.

Conveniently located near the train station so it is easy to stop in on the way home after a long day at work!

My husband really likes the wings!
