I purchased a leather sofa and love seat about two years ago for about $2000. The

salesman gave me the pitch about the optional leather warranty for an additional

$189, which I purchased. It was supposed to take care of anything that may happen to

the leather for 5 years, accidental tears, rips, stains, anything. Well, what

appears to be the sprayed on color finish started peeling off in spot like

cellophane. I called the warranty company, but they quickly said there is an

exclusion that doesn't cover "peeling". So I went to the store to protest and the

girl at their help center said, what?..that should be covered and said someone would

call me from the service department within 48 hours. They called me next day just to

tell me that I'm out of warranty and the leather warranty doesn't cover it either.

They didn't care that their sales pitch was that anything that can happen to it would

be taken care of for 5 years. Bottom line, not covered, out of manufacturers

warranty, nothing they can do. This company will not stand behind what it sells,

even after buying the "covers everything" warranty was purchased. So I bought an

expensive piece of crap leather sofa and love seat that it turns out I have to

replace after two years. It looks awful. Apparently they don't care about their

reputation and the quality of what they sell. Not happy. I wouldn't waste my money

again on these bogus warranties. Mealey's.....you should be embarrassed.

Selection of furniture was wonderful, the displays are magnificent. Most of all, our salesperson was absolutely tremendous. She was experienced, helpful and personable.

I'll try to keep this short and sweet. Yesterday my wife and I were in this Mealey's Furniture and I've never felt so welcomed at any other furniture store. It was relaxing, no pressure type sales, and you could even hang out in the cafe area where there's free drinks and snacks. My wife found exactly what she was looking for. Overall one of the best furniture shopping experiences I can think of..

I read through some of these other reviews and wow, I was SHOCKED to see the several negative reviews. If you're looking for new furniture for your house, at the minimum you should at least browse through a Mealey's Furniture or you might be missing out on something great.

I have dealt with Mealey??s on several occasions. I was so confident I loved their stuff that for my new bed, Mealey??s was my one stop shopping trip! My experience at Mealey??s was pleasant and rewarding as always! Can't wait until I need something else! lol

I found exactly what I was looking for. Mealey??s was the 5th store we went to and we knew right away we felt comfortable purchasing there. The salesperson was great, didn??t pressure us and I am very happy with our choice! This was our first trip to Mealey??s and it couldn??t have been better. The salesperson was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and the best salesperson I have ever met at a furniture store. I won??t shop anywhere else again!

I recently just had my fist visit to Mealey's. Here's what my husband and I loved - the way the store was divided into cubicles and totally decorated & designed. And don't forget the snack station / play area! Great for the kids!! We will definitely be back :)

My Fiancee and I had bought a bed at Mealey's Warminster in February. During this time we had an IKEA Bed that bowed out and the slats keep falling. We were looking for a new bed and was looking at what beds looked sturdy as my fiancee is overweight. We were helped by two salespeople who showed us several panel/storage beds and we settled on the Spencer Queen. I have never had a better bed in my life. Its sturdy and solid. We have had none of the problems that we did with the Ikea bed after the first six months, let alone close to almost a year.

The Delivery was very professional, and they were done quickly. We had a little snag with my floor being uneven. The delivery lead person had to be assured by me that it was okay. They were very polite.

I hope to go back and get a couch in the future, as I was very happy with my experience.

Awful!!!!!!!!!!! My husband and I bought our entire bedroom suite from Mealy's to the tune of more than $6000.00. After little more than 1 year our furniture started falling apart until the bed finally collapsed!!!! When I went to Mealy's The customer service was horrific. I was told sorry it has been a year so you have NO recourse and we just don't care...in plain english. I had to go back 5 times and speak with 2 managers until they finally agreed to send out a repair tech and that was just to look at the furniture. When the tech came out he confirmed it was broken due to poor design but the only solution he could offer me was to "GLUE" yes I mean GLUE my $4000.00 bed back together!!!!! Needless to say I lost my battle I now need to replace all of my furniture as most of the drawers and doors are broken that go to the furniture and the lighted shelves that sit on top of the one dresser have not worked in forever and my bed....I can't sleep in it anymore due to a car accident with permanent back injuries the bed comes close to crippling me. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND MEALY'S!!!! They are awful people who carry terrible merchandise. Over priced and you are seriously under appreciated as a customer. Bonus you will still be paying your Mealy's bill when you go to buy your replacement furniture!!!!:(

My husband and I purchased a Broyhill sofa and loveseat from Mealey's in Morristown, New Jersey on June 26th. We were told that since it was a special order that it would take 6-8 weeks. At the time when the 8 weeks were up (mid August) we contacted the store and asked when we would be getting the furniture. They told us that there was a fabric delay (that they had known about since early July) and that we would not get our furniture until the end of September -- no one from their company cared to call us this entire time to let us know that. Well September has come and gone and still no furniture. After calling the store 3 times in the last week of the month (which is the time we were supposed to get the furniture) and being promised that they would call me back the next day after they talked to the vendor and never being called back, I decided to call and speak with a manager. Keith was very rude on the phone, raised his voice at me, and offered my no consolidation for our wait (3 months at this point). He kept blaming it on the dealer and told me we might not even get our couches. This was news to me. If I would have known this I would have cancelled my order a long time ago. Also, the Keith the manager never said "I'm sorry" at all during the entire conversation and didn't seem to care about me as a customer. Immediately after the phone conversation I went to Mealey's and cancelled the sofa and loveseat order (we were only able to do this because the date that they promised we would get our furniture by on the contract was long past and because of that we can get our money back).

I have never recieved this bad of customer service before ever in my life. Absolutely terrible! Sure, the sales associates will be nice to you when they want you to buy something from them, but after that they don't care about you whatsoever.

Purchased couch made by Cornthian sold at Mealeys Furniture on Street Road. Porr quality. I recommend buying somewhere else. It doesnt matter what price or financing they offer when the quality is this bad!

We recently bought two loveseat consoles from this store. They looked great on the show room floor but when we got them we soon discovered some problems with the upholstery. The black webbing was showing and had stables coming through, Inside the console there were more stables poking through and there was a hole in the back of the loveseat pleather. The other loveseat had the webbing and staples showing as well. We had the one replaced and are still waiting on the other problem. The loveseat that was replaced seemed more cushioned than the other and the pull cords were very hard to pull out the recliners. Both cords ended up breaking. At this point we asked to re-select or get our money back. They offered re-selection but we would loose our 3 yr warranty(153.40 dollars) and have to pay another 85 dollar delivery fee.
When we went into the Bensalem store we talked to the manager after looking at everything on the sales floor. We asked him if he could roll over the 153.40 warranty fee we paid on furniture that didn't even make it to 6 mths, He said he could not do that, not policy. I told him we didn't find anything we liked on the floor and I asked for a catalog to choose something, he said they do not do catalog orders. I said we will need our money back then since your unable to help us. He said they never give refunds on anything, ever. I said I guess we have to settle for something we don't want which is not fair since it was your furniture that was defective. He stared at us with disgust and as though we were bothering him. He started talking to another employee and I said to my Fiance that maybe we should get a lawyer, the manager overheard me and said, Why don't you do that then, goodbye. Nothing has been done yet to fix the defected furniture we are forced to keep.
This is very unfortunate because they have a very friendly staff that knows how to sell furniture, like our sales person, Paul Brown. He was very outgoing and make us feel excited about our purchase. I wish I could go back just for his expertise but I need total satisfaction with a business and this one lacks it due to the manager and his store policies and his unfriendly attitude.

Mealey's furniture... One of the few places out there offering same day or next day delivery. Ah, yes, but only on the exact thing you see on the floor. For instance, if you wanted to change a Left-arm chaise for a sectional to a Right-arm, you'll be waiting 6-8 weeks. Oh, and, if you choose fabrics other than those on the floor model, even from the one's in their "also available in" fabric reel, you'll be in the same situation! Now, I'm sure their quality is decent, as they carry many of the major brand-name furniture manufacturers in the country, such as Rowe, Broyhill, Klaussner, Lane, and La-Z-Boy. However, make sure you know what you're getting yourself into. Find out who manufactures your product of interest and do your research on prices, etc. We were very interested in a sectional that was in the front of the store... The sales people, who are all very friendly albeit a bit pushy, informed us that it was a Rowe by the name of "Riviera." The pieces on the floor wouldn't work with our layout, so we asked to see the spec sheet for other pieces. The sales person came back with a page with the title whited-out and some categories on a graph whited-out as well. Red flag! So we went home to do our homework... One stop at the Rowe website confirmed everything. The fabric is a standard WearSmart fabric that Rowe offers, and the actual name of the piece is "Niagra." (As we all know, you can kind of read through white-out, but beyond that, the picture, style, and layout was completely the same on the Rowe website and the Mealey's spec sheet.) A phone call to a local Rowe dealer with the model name, pieces we wanted, and fabric code led us to a price over $500, including delivery, fabric protection, and taxes, less than that of Mealey's!! So please, just make sure you do your homework. Mealey's does all of this lieing and run-around for one reason and one reason only: They don't want you going elsewhere or demanding a lower price because you've comparison shopped. I'm fully aware that sometimes it makes sense to pay a higher price for service, etc... But ask yourself, are you comfortable giving your money to someone who is manipulating you into believing that they are the ONLY place that carries what you want? That their prices can't be beat? And that all of their furniture is exclusive? I wouldn't be... Lieing isn't on my list of quality business practices or good customer service. I'll be shopping with people who respect my money and my intelligence enough to realize that in the age of the internet, there's no sense in lieing to me unless they don't want my business!

We looked around for a nice modern bedroom set made out of wood material and found it almost impossible until we went to Mealey's. We went after 2:00 pm so delivery was the next day which was perfect so we went home and moved out the old furniture and cleaned. The salesman was very nice and the guys that delivered the furniture were too. We had a problem with one piece and they actually brought a replacement the same day! We have had the furniture for 4 days now and we love it. It's made in the USA which is a plus! Our children even enjoyed the visit to Mealey's because of the snack bar and video games! The other reviewer's must have had a different brand furniture than ours because the quality is definately there with our furniture. We actually had a bad experience with Raymour and flanigan furniture! Try Mealey's!!!!

they have a very wide selection of furniture however the quality is very poor , this maybe why there prices are so cheap, the staff is very amazing, they do not annoy and follow you around, but if you need them they are very close to you. they also have a snack bar with popcorn cotton candy, drinks ect all at no charge.they have same day delivery also

The main draw of Mealey's is that they'll deliver your furniture to you same day, every day. The problem is that the quality doesn't seem to be there. Their offering tends to look a bit cheap, though they do often offer the same no-interest/no payment financing that you'll find at other large furniture chains. This Mealey's is a bit off the beaten path so you'll find more attention from the staff, but the furniture is just so-so. Stick with Raymour & Flanigan.
