The new owner is outstanding!!! I had a remote starter installed and it works flawlessly. My car was cleaner than when I left it!!! I also had my car detailed by the detail shop and it looks like a new car, only it has 110,000 miles on it! They came to my house and set up a canopy and did it right in my own driveway. I never had a detail look this good. I plan to use them for all of my accessory and detailing needs. First class operation

Excellent detail job done on a 24 foot boat. The gel coat looked new again and has maintained the showroom shine for over 4 months. I highly recommend Ryan and crew for detail work. He takes pride in his work and reputation.

I have several friends who have had work done by auto effects. None are satisfied and none are going back. However, I will only comment on my personal experience. I recently became owner of an Infiniti G35 6mt coupe, Infinities most sporty and high performance model of its generation. I know the previous owner very well. He had taken the G to auto effects to have a few things put in. A hard wire to plug in an mp3 player. An external antenea to attach to his cell phone. A remote starter. And two plastic holders to set his mp3 player and cell phone on while driving located right next to the stereo part of the dash. The car never seemed to have anything wrong with it while he owned it. But now that I'm the owner, I realize just how poorly they did all of this. NOTHING was done correctly. The remote starter required a power source. They simply took a loose wire and wrapped it wround one of the fuses and plugged it back into the fuse panel! Loose and disconnected wires are hanging all over the place. The two plastic holders are screwed into metal brackets that are wrapped in electrical tape so that they appear to match. Scratches were made all over the dash and panelling where they attempted to remove things for the instal. The exterior cell antenea.... ITS NOT EVEN CONNECTED! the magnetic antenea is on the roof, with a wire running into the car and up the passenger door jam. The plug meant to screw into the cells antenea is there as well. But both wires simply end. theyre not even connected. who know if it would have even worked if they actually were connected. I could go on and on, but I think you get my drift by now. A relative of mine went to high school with the Eichorns (owner of auto effects). He and his brothers were low life clowns in high school and apparently still are today because they can't even run an honest business.

Pros: None

Cons: Everything you pay them for.

Auto Effects must have dropped something resulting in a quarter-sized dent on my car. They made up some story about being out of tint so that they could keep the car over night. The next day I immediately found the dent and had a body shop take it out. They said, "You know someone was already in there trying to get that out, right?" Then, a few months later, I was getting tint somewhere else and I told the employee about my experience with this and another shop. The guy actually used to work at Auto Effects and said that he remembers that they did, in fact, dent my vehicle. It's a shame because they do tinting very well.

I have dealt with many mobile electronics stores throughout my life... AutoEffects is definitely on top in my book. I actually worked in the car audio industry for several years and have seen many types of businesses. That store is a very responsible and accomidating company. The employees that they have tinting at their Pittsburgh location is one of the best tinters that I have ever seen... I hear that he has even been in a few magazines for it. Overall, I have visited two of the three locations that they have in western Pa, and it seems like they have a great plan, and a ton of skill to include custom work. I would recommend that anyone looking for ANYTHING for their cars, give the gentlemen at AutoEffects a chance...

Beware.
Never go to this company for anything. The so-called owner ( Ryan Eichhorn ) is a liar . They damaged my vehicle and then shrugged their shoulders and say there's nothing they can do.

If anyone else has had a similar experience let me know.

I went there for a simple car starter. After I paid out $200 dollars, I found that the light on my climate control consoles were not working. and they claim that working on one part of an electrical system should not affect another. It was working before, but not afterwards. They graciously took my money and said there's nothing they could do.

Their suggestion was maybe when I go over a bump it would come back on. True professionals
