I look forward to visiting Edge every time I go to Bethlehem! The food is always delicious and the service is always top notch. The atmosphere is wonderful for a nice night out. Be sure to save room for dessert as the warm Valhrona chocolate cake is to die for!

Great ambience, excellent food. Everything from the martinis to dessert was excellent and well presented. This is a great place to take a date or impress the in-laws.

Pros: classy

A very nice restaurant. Cool ambiance and good food. Some of the main entrees are disappointing, but their appetizers are consistently good. Often I I often skip the entree and double up on the appetizers instead. The Tarragon Gnocchi is my favorite dish--very memorable. The Tuna Tar Tar is also very good. And don't forget desert! Perfect spot for a date.

We have been to Edge numerous time. I have enjoyed the fillet, the butter-fish, the pork, the lamb chops, all are outstanding. All are my favorite. The salads, soups, and side vegetables are all fresh..the chief creates food presentations that you don't find at other Lehigh Valley Restaurants. The desserts are great!
My husband and I have compared prices and food quality of other popular fine dining restaurants in the Valley and Edge is comparable in price with the other restaurants and the food quality is the best...this is by far our favorite.

My girlfriend took me to "Edge" for my birthday back in late March. I have to say, I loved every minute of it. Let me give a quick breakdown:

Drinks:

The drinks were fairly average for the quality of restaurant (I am used to paying Philly prices, so I would consider it reasonable) and was about $5-8 for a mixed drink. I have to say, my Rum and Diet was mixed perfectly, with just enough bite but not enough to make your toe's curl. My girlfriend had a cosmo, and I have to admit, it was perfectly balanced.

Decor/Ambiance:The restaurant had a very chic attitude, and it was definitely catered to more of a New York crowd. A table of older people came in shortly after us, and complained about the volume of the music. Although it was louder than I would normally expect, once the place filled up 1/2 hour later, it was a very reasonable level. Tables can be a little cramped at busy hour (some looked like they were on top of each other), but if you give the hostess a nice tip, and say you want something private, they should be able to accommodate you to a nice table. Wait staff was superb, where they met every single need without being intrusive. All in all, I would say decor/ambiance was going for a more modernistic attitude.

Food:

The food was the best part (as it should be)! We started off with a Tuna Tartar. My girlfriend was very apprehensive of this dish, but she instantly fell in love after tasting it. Somehow, they made raw Tuna taste perfect, without the normal mushiness or fishy taste that can be found in a Tartar. I had the Rack of Lamb for dinner, and I have to say, it was perhaps the best cut of meat I have ever had in my life (notice I said meat, meaning all meat that I have ever had, not just lamb). It was actually more tender and juicy than a fillet Mignon, with a hint of the gaminess of lamb, but more characteristic of a finely cooked beef. It was perfect in every way. My girlfriend had one of the fish meals (can't remember which one), and found it to be also perfectly balanced with flavor. We ended the night with the Caramel Apple pie (with ice cream) that was again, perfect.

All in all, a great experience! With appetizer, meal, desert, and 2 drinks each, the billed was just over $100. Not to bad either!

Seated right away, we had reservations, wasn't expecting such a nice place with good food and atmoshere here in Bethlehem-Allentown area. Only one minor complaint, we were seated next to the bar (non-smoking) and it got quite loud at times. Will go back for sure, will request to be seated away from bar.

Excellent food! Had the tuna tartare and filet--both were delicious. Went on a Friday night around 8...the crowd got a little older when the jazz band came in (my boyfriend and I are in our late 20s, the crowd looked to be closer to 40s) but we still had a nice time. Will definitely make this a regular place to go in the area. It sets a nice standard for restaurants in the LV.

The Edge is a modern, new american cuisine restaurant in a nice location. The food is very good and they have an OK variety of foods to choose from. The service is good. It is fairly expensive though. Good place to go for a romantic dinner. Not a family restaurant and be prepared to spend some money.

PROS: Nice restaurant.
CONS: Expensive.
